One reason we're popular is our terrific location in downtown Victoria. We're so close to Victoria's main tourist spots you can avoid using a car. (For example, it's only a 3 minute walk to the Royal BC Museum or the inner harbour). If you have a car we provide free private parking.
Harborwalk is a 'character suite'. The decor is fresh, clean and relaxing. And, we keep it spotless! The suite has a private entrance from the front porch (pictured above.) It consists of three rooms connected by a short hallway - all yours, nothing shared.
The main room is a bedroom/sitting room. It has a queen sized bed, a gas fireplace, bay windows, a TV/DVD and a leather 3-seater sofa that converts into a single bed. The second room is a full kitchen and dining area. The dining area can also serve as temporary sleeping quarters (by adding a roll-away single bed). The third room is your private washroom, complete with antique clawfoot tub (1932) and overhead 'sunflower' shower.
Time and again we're told that Harborwalk is a delightful experience. It should be. Harborwalk has a charming 'country cottage' appeal. Our quiet lane, dotted with evergreens, started life in the 1800's as a footpath to the seaside. Today it's a character street, popular with horse drawn carriage tours and curious tourists.
Vancouver Island's biodiversity and natural wonders attract visitors from around the world. It's a wonderful place to get away, relax and spend some quality time. And there are plenty of ways to fill your time too. Tourism is Victoria's #1 industry.

We are a husband and wife team in our mid fifties. We are both professionals with many years of work experience in health care, manufacturing, and the service sector. Running our vacation rental allows us to meet many interesting people from around the world.

For a relaxing getaway our property is ideal. It is centrally located and within short walking distance to major attractions and the convention center. Our neighborhood is filled with tree lined streets and beautiful heritage homes. It is a safe, relaxing & beautiful place to visit.
Biodiversity is a major feature of Victoria. We are by the Pacific ocean with the snowcapped Olympic mountains, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca, as a backdrop. Beacon Hill park, next door to us, has over 200 species of trees. Whale watching is a popular tourist activity.
This is a comfortable suite in a character home on a quiet street walkable to most downtown attractions, the ocean and Beacon Hill Park. Denise and Robert are easy to deal with and there are no hidden fees. They have thought of everything for your comfort. The unit is comfortable, clean and well-stocked. It is easy to feel at home cooking a few meals in the well-appointed kitchen, the Wi-fi works well and the bed is comfy! Our only caveat is the small character bathroom has limited surfaces and the claw-foot tub/shower combo is a bit awkward. Overall a great place to call your home away from home.
The Harborwalk Suite is in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. Denise and Robert are delightful and generous and great conversations which we enjoyed immensely, very informative, helpful, and respectful of privacy. Everything was spotlessly super clean with everything you could need and the bed was very comfortable and kitchen equipped with all you need. Everything was very clean! We enjoyed our time there. Thank you Denise and Robert for making our stay so pleasurable.
Finally getting around to thank you and give praise for this wonderful rental getaway! We loved the quaint yet spotless surroundings, great kitchen to cook in, and especially loved the proximity to everything we love. Harbor walk is spotless, perfectly maintained. Heather St is a quiet location yet a close walk to everything you want to do in Victoria. The hosts are wonderful people & very helpful. We hope to return to this amazing city & cannot think of a better place to stay than right here!

We very much enjoyed our six day stay at your vacation home. It was very clean & tidy and is in a great location - very quiet except for the 4:30 a.m. robin who did take pity on us and left us alone after the 3rd. morning. The kitchen is well stocked & we had breakfast there every morning. We auto toured, bicycle toured & did a lot of walking into the down town & harbor areas - Inner harbor, Fisherman's Wharf, Ogden Point. Lots of interesting pubs, restaurants & shops within easy walking distance. Will definitely recommend staying here & will be back.
I stayed at the Harbour Walk for 10 days at the beginning of March 2016. It is a clean quiet little vacation rental with everything you need, close to all amenities and sites in downtown Victoria and the inner harbour, walking trails and parks. There is a parking space for people who want to rent a car to travel up island to go hiking. Thy have recycling and composting which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this little property.
Harborwalk Vacation Suite is on a quiet, historical residential street. The street was extensively described in a book by Emily Carr. Today the street is popular with horse drawn tour carriages and curious tourists.
