Best of both worlds with beach directly across street and a lush oasis on ICW

As you will see from the reviews, the is a peaceful get away with the best of both worlds at your front and back door. The beach is directly across the street and your mornings and evenings are simply gorgeous as the property is located on the Intracoastal Water Way (ICW). The property on the opposite bank is a Natural Reserve so there is nothing to disturb the peaceful view. there is no more perfect word to describe the look of the back yard besides "lush" which just adds to the peaceful setting. Guests always say that it is so much more beautiful than they expected! With two cottages to choose from, or both, you will enjoy sitting on the dock or lounging in the hammock as the various birds, otters, manatee and dolphin play in the water in right before your eyes. Pricing reflects JUST ONE of the cottages. The cottages are Pet Friendly and boat accessible. So please advise me of any pet(s) or if you plan on bringing or renting a boat in your inquiry as there is a nominal fee for pets and docking a boat. Just about everything is within walking distance. (see map) BBQ, Washer/Dryer, and hammock all provided make your stay even better.

There are two cottages known as cottage 1 or cottage 2. Descriptions of each cottage along with the pictures that are marked side #1 or #2 or both bdrms. Cottage #1 has one full size bed with carpeted bedroom floors The den has brand new tiled floors and a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove top, microwave/exhaust and large toaster oven. It has a large bar top with stools in it's open concept entertaining/dining area. Cottage #2 is also one bedroom with a full size bed but has 2 baths! It has tiled floors and a full kitchen with an oven/stove, microwave and full size refrigerator. The bedrooms and main baths are the same size in both cottages and have sleeper sofas. New flat screen TVs in both cottages with cable and dual band WIFI. There is a dock for fishing, docking a boat or just enjoying with all the natural visitors we get! I have been a VRBO customer from the rental side for years. So when I bought this property I knew what guests were looking for. No back aches with old beds or furniture. clean and open with direct access to the beach and boating.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Redington Shores

it simply has the best of boat and beach with privacy ! even the view across the Intercoastal Water way is private because there is a natural preserve across the water that will never be developed. The two cottages are under the same roof structure so a family could rent both which would provide the privacy and additional space for the adults while still having the children in the adjoining cottage. Again, the pricing reflects just one of the cottages so please request pricing for both.

Centrally located for many options and a nice size for my husband and me.

The owner was very responsive to our communications, and the welcome email gave good info. The property was very clean and had enough to make our stay comfortable. There is a county beach almost across the road and it is beautiful. As others said, there are a lot of restaurants to choose from from within walking distance. The road past the house leads easily to other beaches too. A very nice place!

What you come to the gulf coast for!

Cozy little place [it is a small bedroom and bed], but all the essentials were there and you don't go to S. FL to sit in your room! Outside is a great yard area, and the dock on the waterway behind the units was incredible! Close to everything we needed. Great little ice cream parlor and a 7-Eleven [need that morning coffee] within two blocks, and the gulf just across the highway. The owner was responsive and accommodating. Only hitch was HomeAway site misrepresenting our reservation, telling us we had one night reserved instead of four. Not what you want to see the day before you are scheduled to go.

Just what we were looking for

We wanted a place by the water that would allow our big dog. This was the perfect location with a great view. We loved sitting on the dock, and being able to access the beach just across the street. We drove down to Fort de Soto Park, and up to Honeymoon Island, all within less than 45 minutes from the property. Dog parks in the area were free and abundant. There is lots to do and see on the main strip. The cottage was clean and offered everything we needed. Much better than staying at a hotel. We definitely hope to come back soon.

Perfect location for beach, food and fun

It was so nice being able to just walk across the street and be right there at the Redington Beach entrance. Plus you have the dock out back of the cottage overlooking an intercostal waterway. Only down side was just not enough time. We were nervous about getting to stay due to Irma, but owner Dick Wall was excellent at getting us in there as soon as we could be, and it worked out Perfect! I'm so happy we were able to stay here for our vacation, would return again for sure.

Great place with lot's to do!

My wife and I spent a weekend here and absolutely loved it! The location is beautiful and quiet but right in the middle of so many things to do and places to eat. Being walking distance from the whitesand beach and with the intracoastal waterway in the backyard, for us as water lovers, it was perfect!

The house was well-maintained and clean and had everything we needed. We may very well be back in the future.
