Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

It was overall a great experience. Given the choice of staying at a hotel or Judy’s place. I’d pick Judy’s place any day. I'd definitely stay there again next time I'm in Toronto.

Judy is very responsive and easy to work with – from the first inquiry to getting the reservations set up, to when I need help on how to light up the BBQ grill on a Sunday afternoon. Backyard is lovely, full of blooms and colors!

The actual property is even better than seen in the pictures -- immaculate, well appointed, and cozy, and have all the comfort of a home. It is situated on a quaint street in a quiet yet convenient neighborhood. Restaurants, bakeries, local shops and Starbucks around the corner, streetcar very close by, and Loblaws a few block away. Drive to downtown in 10-15 minutes.

My family and I stayed at Judy’s place for 2 weeks. It was a home away from home for us. Highly recommend Judy’s place if you are visiting Toronto.

Charming & Comfortable Canadian Home

  • 5 of 5

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Toronto. The house had all of the necessities for our family to have a comfortable stay. It is tastefully decorated and surrounded by beautiful foliage and flowers outdoors. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard by sitting on the porch each day. It took us a little while to figure-out how to work the TV and to find stations in English language. Location is great since it's walking distance of many stores, parks, restaurants, and groceries. Judy was a gracious host and gave me lots of information. She also provided a binder upon arrival that contained detailed information on the home and surrounding area. Judy answered all questions in a timely fashion and was very helpful. We would definitely stay at this lovely home again!

Very beautiful home, great location!

  • 4 of 5

Very well-furnished and beautiful home! Very short walk (2 min) to where the streetcar picks up, which connects seamlessly to the subway system. Although we didn't cook in, the kitchen appeared very well appointed and updated. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice, but what stuck out most were the very unique furnishings throughout the home. Judy is very nice to work with. Our only issue was that the AC didn't reach the upstairs very well, so since we visited in August, it was a bit warm for sleeping. Adding a 2nd fan for each of the upstairs bedrooms would be a nice add. Overall, very happy and would definitely stay there again.
