Overview

About the property

House, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 3

This cozy cedar-shingled studio sits just a few blocks south of bustling downtown and only one block from the ocean - making it an ideal Cannon Beach vacation rental for a romantic weekend or laid-back getaway! With a full kitchen and private fenced yard, you'll enjoy all the comforts of home in the heart of one the most vibrant and beautiful destinations on the Oregon Coast.

The cabana (one half of a duplex) has a small footprint but a smart design, with hardwood floors, modern furnishings, and occasional pops of color in the sunny space. The sleeping, living, and dining areas all share one open space, with a private bath tucked away to the side.

You'll sleep soundly in the queen bed, dressed in fluffy white linens and positioned in the perfect spot for watching late-night TV on the wall-mounted flat-screen. In addition to cable and DVD player.

During the day, you can relax in the sitting area on the plush red loveseat. It also unfolds into a twin-sized sleeper for a child or extra guest. Or, take a seat at the four-person dining table: after dinner, you can spread out with a board game or puzzle for some unplugged entertainment. Or, bring along your laptop, as free WiFi is available as well!

The kitchen has all the essentials you'll need to prepare meals: stainless steel appliances including a full-sized refrigerator, oven with stovetop, and microwave, along with countertop gadgets like a coffee grinder, mixer, blender, and toaster. You'll also find pots and pans, dishes, and even wine glasses, so bring home a bottle from the Wine Shack after a day exploring the galleries and boutiques of the charming downtown.

This Cannon Beach cabana also includes a full bath with tub/shower combo, and a charming fenced backyard that's just waiting to welcome the family dog (60 pounds or less, please). Bring her along for an additional nightly fee, and she'll have plenty of tail-wagging company on the sandy beach just across the street from your door! There's even a charcoal barbecue in the fenced-in patio out front for summer cookouts.

Freshen up your laundry at a public laundry site at the Cannon Beach RV Resort two miles away.

For romantic getaways, a small family vacation, or just a solo retreat to rejuvenate, you won't go wrong with a stay at this charming Cannon Beach vacation rental!

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Small but do-able.

 • 4 of 5

Very clean. Great location! Walking distance to several restaurants, bars and shopping. Good place to stay for one or two people. Any more than that would be too crowded.

Small but decent one-room budget cabin

 • 4 of 5

It’s cute and current. As another reviewer noticed, the wide-angle photos make this little one-room cabin look much larger than it is. The bed and the dining table are only a few feet apart. We were happy with this cabin even for a week-long stay, but this might not be the best place if you or anyone in your party might want some private time. Also, we found that the bed was arranged as in the virtual tour, not as in the photos.

The sofa is of limited use. It’s next to the open closet, across from the kitchen sink and far from the TV which is in the opposite corner of the room. It’s fine if you just want to sit or to use the sofa table, but when we wanted to watch TV we ended up sitting on the bed.

We only had minor issues that didn’t affect our stay very much, so we liked the cabin just fine, even though we do prefer one with a separate bedroom. The location is very good for both the beach and town.

And a dog makes three

 • 5 of 5

Cozy and comfortable spot right in between everything. Easy, beautiful and short walk to the beach - hello Haystack Rock. Loved Lazy Susan's and the Hardware Store and Bar. Walked everywhere and our dog is still sleeping off the coastal excitement and wave chasing
