The “Bears Den” boasts a 120” HD screen paired with a 1080p HD projector, Denon A/V Receiver, Boston Acoustics speakers, and six top grain leather home theater seats. From the “Bears Den” you can easily access a professionally-maintained 5 person hot tub with incredible mountain views.

Pops’ Bear Necessities features a large living area with a plush leather recliner and an oversized leather sofa. You will love unwinding in front of the gas log fireplace (operational October 1 – April 1) and flat-screen television after a long day spent in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Cade's Cove. A six seat dining room table in the dining nook is the perfect place to serve a home-cooked meal. An outdoor, camp site style charcoal grill is also included.

The main level master suite features an in-room Jacuzzi tub with mountain views, a king-size bed with new Posturepedic pillow-top mattress, and a flat screen television. The second floor hide-away includes a king-size bed with new Posturepedic pillow-top mattress, and a flat screen television. Both bedrooms include full ensuite bathrooms.

Bunk Bed with a regular bed on bottom and twin on top in game room. Pack-n-Play also included.

About Scott Adams

Our names are Steve and Denise Adams, and we live in Georgia. We have two children, and 3 precious grandchildren (They call me Pops). It has been a dream of ours for many years to own a cabin in The Great Smoky Mountains. We finally have got the opportunity to do so and would love to share our beautiful cabin with you. We chose Sky Harbor because of its easy access to all the area offers. I hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we do. It is cozy and unique in every way you can imagine. Allow us to make your vacation unique and memorable. We hope you make our cabin your home away from home.

Scott Adams purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Scott Adams chose East

We searched for several months until we found the cabin of our choice. We were looking for something that was private but not too far from everything. We have been wanting a place in the mountains for many years.

Rest assured this cabin is privately owned by our family and not operated by a rental company acting as private owner.

What makes this cabin unique

Ease of Access to downtown Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge , all new furniture, renovated game room, and a true in home theater. Whether you want to come and never leave, or just have a place to unwind after a long day adventuring in the Smoky's, Pops' Bear Necessities is the place for you! Yes just a few minute drive to Dollywood !!!

Great Cabin for Lots of Family Fun!!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family LOVED this cabin...lots of fun activities for the whole family. We have 3 children: ages 10, 14, 18...we all loved the pool table, hot tub, and arcade games, but most of all the THEATER ROOM! Every night was movie night!!! The beds/mattresses were the most comfortable we've had while on vacation. We even enjoyed a visit by a bear...which was quite a treat (from a safe distance). The owner is very nice, quick to respond, and always so helpful. Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation!!!

Pops Bear Necessities

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed the cabin. We stayed for the weekend with sister and her husband and we all loved the cabin set up. The game room and theater room was a lot of fun, brought us back to the 80s playing the video games and pool. Theater room was awesome to watch our Netflix shows on.

Cabin was clean and well kept. We are looking forward to going back to the cabin in the summer or fall months.

Thank you!!!!

long weekend perfect stay in Jan 2016

  • 5 of 5

We stayed as a famil with 3 kids, ages 9, 7, and 5. They loved the theater room and hot tub! The pac man game was neat! The beds were very comfortable! We will definitely return. Do know that the roads are windy and would be a problem if there was snow and ice. So as recommended bring food in case of inclement weather.

Will return

  • 5 of 5

This was our 4th trip to Gatlinburg and we have stayed in different cabins each time. This is the first time we agreed we could go back to the same cabin again. This cabin is a perfect fit for a family. The kids (6 & 8) loved the arcade game and movie room. After long day adventures in the park, the movie room was an ideal place to unwind. The cabin is also relatively secluded with only two other cabins within view and up a dead-end hill where there will be no cars driving by. The only downside was we felt the cleaning crew could have done a better job. It is minor but the dishwasher was completely crammed full of dirty dishes and the sink had dirty dishes in it too when we arrived. The last thing you want to do when getting to a cabin is clean up the prior renter's mess. I assume this was an isolated issue and would not deter us from staying again.

Owner's Response: Ted, First, thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay, and love the cabin as much as we do. Second, in regards to the cleaning issue, we are appalled that this happened to you. We have contacted the company that handles our cleaning and they have ensured this will remain an isolated incident. I deeply apologize. Regards, Scott Adams

Best Cabin ever!!

  • 5 of 5

This is the first time I have returned to this area since 2000. My wife and I spend many of hours searching for the right cabin for this trip. I'm so glad we decided to stay at this cabin! The theater was a lot of fun for the most part and the seats were very comfortable. The game room was a blast and kept us entertained while we had time or once we got back to the cabin after the day out. The owner responds very quickly to emails and handled a minor issue we were having. We will definitely be staying in this cabin every time we return to the mountains! This is the best cabin I have ever stayed in!

We had a great stay, comfortable beds, family enjoyed the game room and theatre. We were there over the 4th of July and watched fireworks on the big screen. Kitchen well equipped. Great family cabin.
