PETS: We love dogs and are dog friendly however it does extend our housekeeping hours. We have a dog run for guest use. Dogs must be house broken and well behaved. Ask for a copy of our Pet Policy.

SkyHouse is known locally as 'The Crown Jewel'. When the original owners of this ranch became elderly they gradually sold off lots for custom homes. They saved this property, believing one of their girls would build a home on the property. Therefore the streets are named after their girls Carol, Nina, Elsie Mae and Daisy. All of the girls married men from out of town and moved away.

The views are like no other. Red tail hawks soar and hunt in the updraft in front of the property. Deer, raccoons, possum, hummingbirds and owls all pass through the property.

Relax at this mountain resort. Hike or ride your mountain bike or road bike right from the front door onto the fire trails or on the street to Big Basin State Park.


Order a massage, read, hit a bucket of golf balls on our driving range, play ping pong, play music, draw, paint, enjoy the quite of the day and fall asleep to crickets at night. When the sun goes down over the San Lorenzo Valley the stars come out. Sit by a campfire and experience a sky not obscured by city lights.

NEIGHBORS RIGHT TO PEACE AND QUIET: In accordance with local law QUIET HOURS starts promptly at 10 P.M. and continue until 9 A.M. Tenants shall behave at all times in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors, respecting the right to peace and quiet of the surrounding property owners. Tenants shall not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy the surrounding property owners. Outdoor noise from Music, Voices, etc. must be kept to a minimum. Noise and loud conversation shall at all times be kept to a minimum on the North side of the house, which is the area in front of the garage door and in proximity to the closest neighbor. It is a violation of this agreement if the Sheriff or other government authorities are called to the property for any disturbance to neighbors or any violation of the law. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement. Tenants shall immediately vacate the premises upon a violation of this agreement. Violations of this agreements Right To Peace and Quiet clause shall result in the Tenants forfeiting their entire Security Deposit.

SHERIFF and NOISE - If for any reason the Sheriff or authorities are called to the property as a result of your actions. You will at a minimum loose your deposit! You will have to leave the property immediately.

About David W Robinson

Susan born and raised in San Francisco. David from a small town in the Northeast on the border of Canada. Susan and David met for the first time February 22, 1999 at The Bach Dynamite and Dancing Society in Half Moon Bay. The meeting was arranged via Love at AOL (now Match). David selflessly taught Susan how to play bass guitar which pretty much guaranteed that there would be a band room wherever they live. We have a complete band room in our Boulder Creek house that includes: drums, percussion, microphones, PA, guitars, bass, keyboards, etc. that we make available to guests. We thought about downsizing for a nano-second but need the entire house for family weekends.

Perfect place for our large family gathering

Susan and David were very accommodating to our large group (25 people). We had a wonderful weekend cooking for eachother and enjoying the view/ hot tubs. Hiking in the area is also excellent. We will return!

Delightful place. Very comfortable, with spectacular view of the valley from nearly every room!

The house is such a joy to be staying at. Not only did we find all of the creature comforts that we were hoping for (snacks and refreshments tucked away all over within reach, TVs mounted all over, etc.), but many great and unexpected treats (room with musical instruments to play and sing with, massage chair, fold out beds all over, etc.)!

We came during a rainy season. There was a leak in the upstairs bedroom, the dripped on to the foot of the main bed, which was a bit annoying. But it was not so bad as to ruin the weekend.

We highly recommend this place as a home to retreat to!

Wonderful property with a great location

What a wonderful place with kind and helpful hosts. It's hard not to fall in love with this property. Spacious and clean with all the comforts you'd expect and more ... half a dozen humming birds flying around while eating breakfast, over-looking a beautiful valley of nothing but green; it doesn't get much better. And a music room ... really? :-)

We'll definitely be back!

Very nice house with lots of common space.

Lots of TV's throughout.

More air mattresses than I expected.

One bedroom was a converted garage that got very cold in the night.

3 grills on site, none were in good condition.

Owner's Response: Makinde Thank you for your review. There are two heater vents in the converted room, possibly the vents were closed? We have never had a problem with it being cold. We have a great number of beds. We believe your request was to have everyone together in the main house so we setup Aerobeds for you in addition to the conventional beds. Our BBQs are Weber charcoal grills. We don't understand what the problem could be with them? Again, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Until we we again, David.

Absolutely wonderful experience!

We had a company retreat there for 2 days/nights and it was a truly special experience. The owners were very helpful and Stacy (the property manager) was so sweet and easy-going. We opted to have her cook breakfast for us on the second day, and it was delicious!

The scenic beauty of this place is hard to compare - it was such an inspiring place to work, and we would readily take the opportunity to go there again. Loved it!
