About Luther Bailey
I have been an area resident for thirty years and have worked as a contractor in the area for most of that time. I have extensive knowledge of attractions, restaurants and entertainment venues and am very willing to pass that on to my tenants. I love this area because there is so much to do and most within walking distance. You can park your car and not need it again for your entire stay, depending upon what you wish to do.
Luther Bailey purchased this Townhome in 2013
Why Luther Bailey chose South Main Historic District
This property is within eyesight of such great places as the Orpheum, FedEx Forum, Gibson Guitar Factory, the Civil Rights Museum, and very close to the beautiful Mississippi River waterfront. For festivals downtown, it is a prime spot with no worry about parking.
What makes this Townhome unique
The rooftop deck is an awesome place to people watch, enjoy the sunset, smoke a cigar, or just relax with a glass of wine. It is also great for your morning coffee.

Sports & Adventure Activities
If you want to experience downtown and Beale Street. This is the place. Easy walk to all fun.
Location, location location!
Our stay here was fantastic! Luther Bailey, our host, met us at the house with great info of things to do and places to see. The house is located near the civil rights museum and several REALLY GREAT places to eat and imbibe. It is also walking distance to Beale St and the river/downtown area.
The house itself is great. The decor was fun and the house is clean and spacious. We didn’t get to use the rooftop deck due to some really intense weather, but we took a look at it and it would be great to have a relaxing time up there. He even put a small fridge up there to reduce the walking! Thoughtful.
There is ample off street parking.
If you have trouble with stairs, this might not be the place for you, although there is a place to sleep and a powder room on the first floor. It is easy to load and unload right from the front door.
We have already started to plan our next trip to Memphis, and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Great value and a great time.
Everything was wonderful! Great location.
Fantastic location and great house
This was my second time staying in this property. It has a great location in walking distance to everything downtown, and then easy parking space if you do want a car (which we did for Graceland, Sun Studios and getting to non-downtown restaurants).
The house is extremely comfortable, lots of space and the beds are super comfy.
Luther greets on arrival and provides fantastic knowledge of the places to go and most importantly, what's new and exciting food-wise!
We'll be back again.
A prime home base for a Beale St excursion
We were in town for the International Blues Challenge that is held on Beale St. and this was a prime spot to use as a home base. Easy walking distance to Beale. The condo is great. Since we drove to Memphis we loved the gated 2 car garage under the condo. We stayed in the master bedroom and our other couple stayed in the other bedroom. We both had nothing but nice things to say about our rooms with their own bathrooms. Very comfortable memory foam beds. A very cozy condo close to a lot of great eateries around the corner. It was January when we were there so we didn't get to use the rooftop patio. The owner, Luther, was quick with a repair that came about due to a cold snap while we were there. I would highly recommend this location and Luther was easy and enjoyable to work with.
Awesome condo. Excellant location great neighborhood
Premier location in the middle of arts, entertainment and historic Main Street Memphis district.
