About Owner/Manager

My wife and I began renting out our own vacation home in the Columbia Valley and soon had our neighbors asking us to manage and market their vacation homes, due to the success we were having with our guests, the number of days we were renting out our home and our previous experience in the tourism industry. Our success though, really falls back to how our guests were enjoying the homes we were managing, the cleanliness of the homes, the quality amenities we thought each guest would enjoy and the memories each guest, their friends and families, were making. We truly look forward to hearing from our past guests about how they enjoyed their stay or their suggestions on how we can make future guest experiences more pleasurable.

Owner/Manager purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Owner/Manager chose Radium Hot Springs

My wife and I have been visiting the Columbia Valley for a number of years and love the warmer weather, the friendly locals and the endless activities and adventures that are available. We thought it would be great to have a place to enjoy with our friends and family that is only within a 2 3/4 hour drive from Calgary. Our hope is that those interested in spending a weekend or week or two in our home, would find some needed rest, relaxation, adventure and feel as though they have had a holiday to remember as we do every time we visit!

What makes this cabin unique

Sitting on the wrap around deck would have to be a highlight of most folks that visit and stay at our cabin. The Endless views and the hours of sun that the deck receives is enjoyed by most. The other features that we enjoy is the close proximity to the amenities along Radium's main street, the Columbia River wetlands where one can enjoy hours of bird and wildlife watching and the close proximity to golf, skiing or any other endless adventure that the valley offers. Watching the local Bighorn Sheep and deer wonder amongst the cabins along Pine Cone Lane is another treat that the kids love.

Geweldige plek!

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in deze Cabin. Het huis was groot en alles was netjes en goed verzorgd. De kinderen hebben genoten van de pooltafel!

Radium getaway

  • 4 of 5

A very well appointed home that accommodated our group of 7 adults. Lots of little touches like bath robes, extra supplies that you may have forgotten to bring, etc. Nice deck and eating area and the home is located on a quiet street.

Spring Break

  • 5 of 5

We booked a quiet break here and really enjoyed the accommodation. The pool table was a bonus and kept everyone entertained. The kids appreciated the board games / DVD collection and loved watching the visiting wildlife. Plenty of walks in the area and of course the hot springs are very close. The cabin is well equipped with plenty of space for our family of 5. We will return!

Perfect weekend get away

  • 4 of 5

The review shows 4 stars but I am giving Sinclair Creek Cabin 4.5 stars.

The cabin was a great place for our family day weekend stay with friends and family. The cabin overall was very clean and well cared for; the rooms were roomy, cozy and there was enough space for everyone to stretch out and do their own thing if they wanted.

Our son totally enjoyed the pool table (one of the reasons we chose Sinclair Creek) as did the adults-even though some of them lost games to him. The selection of board games was also quite good. Monopoly was a big winner-or rather our son was (again).

The hot springs passes were a welcome addition after a hard day of skiing Panorama as was the fireplace.

The only things I thought could have been improved on-the dishwasher is in need of a good overhaul as we found it made terrible grinding noises (maybe a loose belt?), one of the kitchen chairs was broken, and the trim on the master bedroom door frame had been pulled (?) off-surgical tape works wonders for repairs! The kitchen could have used a few more serving dishes and baking sheets. And an info sheet on how to control the thermostat would have been helpful as we found it never seemed to get warm in the basement.

We would definitely consider renting Sinclair Creek again but maybe in the summer when the decks and outdoor fire pit could be used.

Chilly visit

  • 5 of 5

We loved Sinclair Cabin as a 71st birthday getaway for friends as it seemed the perfect setting with a quick trip up the hill to the hot springs where we planned to spend a lot of time BUT the weather was not conducive as it was -20 F while we were there. The hot springs were warm but not hot and with the slight wind, our faces and hair froze. . . it was, however, an ADVENTURE. We played Marco Polo trying to find one another in the steam!! We did not stay in the springs as long as we had planned but built a fire at Sinclair and enjoyed the kitchen amenities, played games and watched movies! The downstairs was really chilly no matter what we did with the thermostat so we did not play pool but when we called for a plugin heater to make the bathroom downstairs usable, the maintenance person was there immediately! We will definitely try this trip again but will wait until the thermometer reaches at least 20 F. Also, we loved watching the mountain sheep pawing and foraging for grass across the street . . . poor things!!
