Great Location for quick travel!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the location very much! Its a quiet street for how "downtown" you feel, meaning everything is a quick car ride away, and you can walk to little shops and eateries in the area. However this unit shares a wall with the unit behind it, and though the neighbors are fairly quiet, you can hear them pretty well moving around, mainly their dogs nails on the floor and furniture moving and doors closing. We had our 15 month along, and she is a light sleeper so we are more noise conscious than most. That said, everything in the house creaks, beds, floors, doors etc. Other than those two things, the small place was great for us, and the price was right!

Great little house in a great little neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful little house in a fantastic location! Aimee had everything prepared for us including a great little guide to the local spots for coffee, food, and drink. There's a small yard to hang out in, if you wish, and just walking around the neighborhood is extremely pleasant.

As for the neighborhood; A mere two blocks away we discovered Bar Dough, which to this date, is the best restaurant I've been to in Denver! Sort of an upscale but casual eatery making everything in house with beautiful ingredients. Right next to that was a fantastic little tap house called The Highland Tap and Burger which had a fantastic beer selection, way better than average pub grub, and a really sweet staff. We went to both of these places multiple times. The location of the house is on a sleepy little street, but within a few blocks there are tons of options for coffee, food, and drink. It's also only about a five minute car ride from downtown (traffic pending).

As for the house; It was the perfect size for 2 to 4 people. A great little living room, with Netflix if you wish. A small but well stocked kitchen. The shower was nice (a big plus!), as well, and there's even a washer and dryer, so you can leave with clean clothes in your bag. It had everything we needed.

I'd highly recommend this house to anyone!

Home created with care and love

  • 4 of 5

2 of us, faculty for a 3-day course in downtown Denver, spent 6 nights in this welcoming home. I was impressed with all of the little details and care that created this inviting space. Our work day was 16 hours each day we were there and we mainly cooked in. Spices, vinegars, oils, salt, pepper, and many other cooking items were available to us. The beds were comfortable, the house very clean, books available to read.... many touches that made it feel like home. What was more challenging for us was the lack of a work space. We would have benefited from a table on which to layout course materials. I doubt if anyone else would have this particular requirement.

We had a walk break each day and thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood which has a varied and interesting range of housing. There are restaurants near-by and I even was able to get a great haircut just a few blocks away.

Aimee let us know we could call her anytime and she left a nice bottle of wine for us to enjoy.
