About Duck Creek Mountain Cabin
Family Time Vacation Rentals specializes in managing privately owned cabins-homes, lodges and condos. We are hands on and live where are properties are located. My wife and I started our business in 2008 after deciding we wanted to give our children the simpler life of living in the country. Our business is built on the concept of providing comfortable lodging to families and individuals who want to feel the comforts of home while away on vacation. With over seven years of experience in the nightly rental business, we consistently work to provide top quality properties at affordable rates. A large percentage of our guests who visit the area and stay with us become repeat customers because they had a great time and have said the accommodations and beautiful landscape of where their vacation home was located were exceptional.

Duck Creek Moutain Cabin
Had a great vacation in this 3 bdrm cabin. It is located in a very accessible spot, in a beautiful wooded area. The cabin was very nice, clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had a great time there and would definitely rent again for our next trip.
spacious cabin in the woods
This rental was a wonderful place for our family of 5 to relax after a long day of hiking in Bryce Canyon. The fire pit out back is great for making smores, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pans for making dinners at home. About 30-40 minutes to Bryce. The drive is beautiful- but at night, the road was packed with deer, so drive carefully.
A group of us wanted to get out of Las Vegas for the weekend and we couldn't have been more happier with this cabin! It was very comfortable and clean. We will definitely be coming back!
Calm and Serene!!
Rented this cabin to spend a week with my children and grandchildren. We had a fabulous time, there were plenty of games for the kids to play, we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the kitchen had anything and everything we could possibly need. The cabin was neat and clean with plenty of linens. My only complaint would be there was no propane in the outdoor grill and we had planned on barbecuing, but we made do. I would recommend this cabin and would rent it again in the future.
Nice Place but Make Sure You Know...
GREAT: Great location to get to both Zion & Bryce. We missed the really close & highly recommended Cascade Falls but missed it.
Some nice wildlife in the area including mule deer & wild turkey.
Directions to the cabin were spot on.
The master was nice (morning sun is up & if you like a dark room, it's a bit bright).
The outdoor fire pit was very relaxing & there is a lot of forest to explore behind that area.
Kitchen had a lot of utensils
House esp Showers, & bathrooms were very clean 9 (owners request shoes off & that's a GREAT idea)
Wi-Fi was more than adequate
Duck Creek is fairly limited on restaurants. We really enjoyed the wings & pizza though!
If you're a craft beer person -- BRING your own as the area seems to only have about small selection of Unita & Wasatch beers & while good I like diversity.
The gas station off 89 has no ice. Get it in Duck Creek.
ATTENTION & perhaps several of these items can get easily rectified:
Heads up as the there is NO A/C (& we were there in a heatwave
Fridge was pretty warm and took a full day to cool down – it’s now worth keeping it warm.
Casa blanca ceiling was on reverse & was a bear to find the switch to put the draft to go downward instead of upward (add the location to the instruction as the metal deer on the fan block any site of it)
Hot water heater went out but property mgr responded ASAP & talked us through a fix. We all had freezing showers on Sat but it did heat up after we fixed it.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY CELL PH number for the property mgr as I had to hit the internet & found his cell on the internet as the phone & email address on the agreement go to offices that are closed on the wken!
The inflatable bed pump was NOWHERE to be found. We looked EVERYWHERE - that was an uncomfortable sleep for a 15-yr-old on a deflated mattress.
Patio is great but there are only two chairs & they NEED replacing -- please add more outdoor chairs -- cheap ones will do as we had 8 people there & you have to move dining chairs to sit on that great patio.
There were a lot of movies & some game systems but we didn't play any videos.
OWNERS/PROPERTY MANAGER: FIND the missing mattress pump (it's a very particular pump w/ a wide mouth on the mattress), add some new fold up outdoor chairs to the patio, leave an emergency ph # somewhere & you would get 4.5 to 5 stars next time.
This cabin is near Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. N. Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 2 hours and state parks Escalante / Grand Staircase.
