Lakeside Landing is truly a one-of-a-kind getaway; whether you arrive by land, air, or water your vacation will surely be one to remember. This spectacular cedar home is located on 164 feet of gradual, natural, sprawling lakefront that includes a point and offers breathtaking views of Honeoye Lake and the surrounding hills.
As you enter the house, you are greeted by the arched windows that accentuate the spectacular views. The large kitchen to the left of the entry opens to the living area and dining nook. Preparing meals will be a breeze in the fully stocked kitchen! The living room is ideally designed for entertaining and features a fireplace and a large, flat screen television with surround sound. To the right of the entry doors, you will find the first full bath with a commode, sink, and shower stall and a separate laundry room.
Down the hall from the living room are two bedrooms, both of which offer queen size beds for sleeping. The lakeside bedroom has a bump out addition surrounded by windows, which allows guests to enjoy the panoramic views of the lake from the bed. A door leads out onto the lakeside deck, where you can enjoy a glass of wine and a little relaxation. Both bedrooms share a full bathroom with commode, sink, and shower.
From the multiple entries to the deck, guests will find plenty of space to relax and dine in style. The gradual entry is perfect for all ages, even small children. The sea plane hangar is available for use; the level lake frontage allows you to drive your plane right into the hangar. You don’t have a sea plane? The hangar is the perfect place for the kids to play in inclement weather! A sprawling, level yard behind the house is perfect for playing croquet or volleyball.
Lakeside Landing is located in the middle of beautiful Honeoye Lake, with just a short drive to the towns of Honeoye or Naples and most area attractions.
The property is gorgeous! While we didn't cook except breakfast, the kitchen was well appointed. The whole house was wonderful, and the neighbors very quiet. It was too chilly to go into the waters, but we enjoyed coffee on the back porch daily while watching the sun come up. We also sat on the patio reading and watching the Canada geese several days. My cell phone didn't work at the house (T-Mobile) but the provided wi-fi allowed us to keep in touch with home periodically. (My aunt's AT&T worked just fine.) We will be back next time we are in the area!
This property was wonderful, in perfect location and a very nice barbeque deck and amenities. We really liked the kayaks in the garage and enjoyed peaceful boating on the lake. The amenities were adequate and the rental was very clean. Surrounding area was quiet and neighbors were very kind and nice as well. Nice bottle of wine from the neighboring winery.
Overall we had a wonderful and relaxing time with our family and will definitely come again. The reservation staff was wonderful and very courteous.
