About the property

Remodeled 2 BR/2BA mountain cabin with view, paved roads, peaceful upgraded home

Beartooth Lodge and the surrounding area was not affected by the recent fires in Gatlinburg. The cabin is ready for you to visit and have fun. Even our view escaped the flames.

Beartooth Lodge is a 2 king bedroom/2 bath cabin with a view off the parkway in Sky Harbor (good location, convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Dollywood).

Access is a paved double lane road with paved level parking for 3 cars. We are 10 minutes from traffic light 10 in Pigeon Forge (traffic light 8 is the turn for Dollywood) and 12 minutes from traffic light 1 in Gatlinburg.

The cabin is tastefully decorated with newly finished wood floors, high ceilings, lots of windows and light, gas fireplace (operates October to April), view of the mountains, ceiling fans, two porches, comfortable rockers, new hot tub, theater room, all new furniture and appliances.

The cabin has luxury linens, washer/dryer, desk for computer, picnic table and charcoal grill with lid, cable TV with premium channels (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Encore, Sports Channels), land line telephone service with free long distance in continental US, large screen HDTVs and a sound bar, theater room with 50” plasma TV (bring your favorite movies), two Blu-ray players (plays all DVDs and CDs), arcade with over 60 games, radio/CD player that can connect to cell phones or tablets to play your music from those devices, wireless internet access, and access to most cell phone services.

A water filtration system ensures you have clean good tasting water for the entire cabin, everything from drinking water to showers and even the water in the hot tub is filtered.

Our vacation home offers privacy situated in the middle of two large wooded lots.

In case you are unfamiliar with Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, most of the roads in the area wind around, over, and through the mountains. The roads to our cabin are considered very good for this area.

The cabin has a security system for your peace of mind. (Notice: all electronic equipment is locked and has GPS tracking devices permanently attached inside).

About Debra Stephens

We have been visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area for over 20 years and purchased the cabin in 2013. After remodeling and adding some upgrades it is ready for visitors. We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do.

Debra Stephens purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Debra Stephens chose Sevierville

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful vacation spots we have ever visited and the Sky Harbor area in particular is lovely. The paved roads right to our door quickly and conveniently link you to restaurants, recreational venues, and the national park while retaining the rustic mountain feeling that is so peaceful and relaxing.

What makes this cabin unique

The view of the mountains never gets old and the privacy of having some space between you and other visitors is very calming. Have your morning coffee sitting in a rocker on the back porch gazing at the mountains. Grill on a shaded picnic patio near the front porch. Watch the wildlife and take photos. At the end of the day sit in the hot tub as the sun goes down.

The PERFECT Valentines Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived we were blown away!

The cabin was so clean and neat and absolutely gorgeous!

We did all of our dinners at "home" and were so pleased as to how well stocked the kitchen was.

We spent most of our days in Gatlinburg and getting home every evening to such a relaxing environment was just awesome. The beds were comfortable, the fireplace was great, the warm cozy feel was just perfect after a day of play.

We only used the hot tub once, but it was also perfect.

The packet that Debra Stephens sent was so detailed and exact it was almost scary! Debra was also very prompt in contacting us before and during our visit to BearTooth Lodge.

And rubbing the lucky BearTooth at the front door definately brought us good luck on our trip!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Family of 4 Loved our Visit

  • 5 of 5

All of the pictures on the site were accurate. All of the instructions were clear and helpful. The rooms were spacious. There was adequate storage space in the bedrooms. The kitchen appeared to have everything, but we didn’t cook there. The cabin was far enough out to be peaceful, but still fairly close to the action. Enjoyed the hot tub one night too. We would definitely recommend Debbie’s cabin.

We even saw a few bears while horseback riding at Sugarland Riding Stables. Our favorite restaurant was Bennett’s. We also loved the new Rowdy Mountain Coaster.

Just like it looks - 5 Stars

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean and organized which is a major plus for me! It looks just like the pictures. Everything is in great condition. The owner is easy to communicate with and is very organized. Light switches are labled, directions on alarm clocks, directions, coupons, and cabin is stocked. (Slow cooker, nice pots, pans, dishes, storage containers, knives, games, walking sticks, binoculars, sewing kit, and on and on). We went in the fall and it's a pretty wooded view with a small view of the mountains. The winter view would be a better view of mountains. Cabin is just off the road. You can see other cabins, but none real close. Location was convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Roads to cabin are not too bad, a few blind curves, but my husband didn't mind. Probably pretty typical for mountain roads. Alarm on cabin and keyless entry were nice features and provided peace of mind with little ones in cabin. Living room furniture was in excellent condition, but could be more comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Wifi connection was good. Pizza delivery available to cabin. Only recommendations to owner - need more kitchen towels and dishrags, and use less fabric softener on sheets and blankets. Smell was strong for those more sensitive to smells. OVERALL - great clean cabin, probably would have a hard time finding a better one for this price. Recommended. Thank you for a nice stay.

Perfect getaway spot!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect getaway in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We cooked dinner a couple nights and the kitchen had all the pans and utensils we needed and then some. Debra was a great host and gave us lots of information for our stay. We enjoyed taking the "short cut" drive to Gatlinburg as it was less up and down then the one off the main highway. We spent most of our time in the Smoky Mountain National Park (about 25 min from the cabin), but also checked out the artist and craft stores near the cabin. Great for couples, families or any group wanting a mountain retreat.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed the cabin. Please come visit us again. Thank you for reminding me about the traffic in Gatlinburg in October. There is a short cut that I will add to our arrival information that reduces the time from the cabin to the National Park.
