Welcome to Kana'i A Nalu a quiet resort that sits on the ocean away from the road. This property has the BEST ocean front views of Molokini Crater and Kaho'olawe Island. There is a swimming pool and BBQs next to the ocean. This two bedroom two full bath condo is 952 sq ft with full ocean view. This lovely ocean front property is located on the beach and on the first floor. Convenient beach access from your lanai. Enjoy sunsets year round. During winter humpback whales can be seen in abundance. This unit includes window A/C in the living room and 3 ceiling fans, and FREE secure Wi-Fi access for your laptop and other devices. This corner unit is spacious and bright. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishwasher, stove/oven; linens and towels supplied; washer/dryer inside the unit; a telephone for calls to USA mainland, Canada and Mexico, cable TV, CD/stereo. The master bedroom has a King size bed for your sleeping comfort with Japanese style shoji doors to close for privacy. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to make a King. The living room has a Queen sofa bed. This home sleeps 4 adults maximum and 2 children a total of 6 guests.
This complex sits directly on a 3-mile stretch of white sand beach that spans almost the entire Ma'alaea Bay. This setting is wonderful for romantic sunset strolls. For the more active person this is a great beach to run on for miles in peace away from the crowds. The west end of the beach is Haycraft Park and Ma'alaea Harbor. If there is a big south swell, the wave off the harbor, "Freight Trains," can be one of the best in the world attracting expert surfers. Towards the east of Ma'alaea is a great spot for windsurfing. This property is located less than a mile walking distance to Ma'alaea Harbor and it is centrally located on the island between South and North Maui.
This privately owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals: TA and GE: 094-441-4720-01

About Kathy McCartney
'MauiVision is a business I love because I get to share the Aloha Spirit, the beauty of the land, and talk story with people from around the world. Kathy used to live on the island of Oahu with her US Navy family when she was a young girl. Her family later moved to Southern California. She knew that one day she would return to Hawaii, the place she fell in love with long ago. Taking a leap of faith she purchased her Maui condo June 2002 this was the beginning of fulfilling her prophecy of once again returning to Hawaii soil. Kathy is an artist who is inspired by the beauty of the islands. She captures the beauty she experiences with oil paint on canvas. 'Painting the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands is another way for me to feel close to this special place I call home. I live in Maui part of the year and painting the Hawaiian landscape and people helps me stay connected when I'm not there physically.'

Very well equipped and great locations
We loved the bottom floor, corner unit. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped, and lots of chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels for fun on the beach. Full size W/D was a blessing. Ample seating on the patio watching the waves.
Location is ideal for getting to kahailuhi or Lahaina easily. And if you book a snorkel trip, sunset cruise or whale watching trip, you are a skip and a jump from the Maalea Harbor. Which is great for 6:45am check ins!
A few downers....parking is only for one vehicle per unit. Other can was parked on the street. Parking spaces are tight. Our friends car was sideswiped in a parking space. Rental company wasn’t too worried about the scrapes, just keep that in mind when parking though. And from the pictures it appears the beach is right out in front of the complex. There’s a sea Wall/bulkhead so beach access is down the way. But then it opens up to a beautiful very long, pretty calm beach. (Sugar Beach).
Our first time to travel with others and needing a two bedroom unit. Would stay there again. Mahalo.
Thank you - we are so happy you love our condo!! Mahalo for all the compliments!! I am sorry that happened - we have owned more than 30 years and you are the first parking lot incident. Just coincidentally the parking lot has been repaved and restriped this month and there is an ample parking spot for each condo. For the few guests who have a second car, there is plenty of parking on the street. The beach stretches in front of the condo with beach access a few steps away down by the pool – often calm for snorkeling but also at the whim of the Pacific Ocean – great waves for boogie boarding and surfing. Hands down the best condo in the building!
This was our second visit to this building but our first in this specific apartment.
I can not recomend it enough!
With total privacy and a view over the ocean - this can not be beat!
This apartment is located at the end of the building, giving you all the privacy you want since no one needs to pass you to ge to their place.
Since it’s at ground level you can walk straight out to the pool or beach without having to run to the back of the building and up and down the stairs.
It’s very well furnished and has a very well equipped kitchen with everything you might need.
There is a whole closet full of beach and sand toys, snorkel gear, a surf board and brand new beach chairs ;-)
In the evenings we’d put the kids to bed and put two of the terrace chairs in the lawn in front and just watch the ocean, the sea turtles and a ton of flying fish!
I can’t recomend this place enough!
Love this location - some much we’ve stayed here twice!
If you don’t love the sound of the ocean, being feet away from waters edge, seeing Whales, and sea turtles from the lanai, and being in a quiet serene neighborhood then this is not the place for you. ;-) Seriously though, we have stayed in this condo twice now and this condo was perfect on the ground floor.

Your Own Little Paradise
Great location on the water with your own little quiet corner to enjoy the scenery!
Well supplied unit with lots of extras. BBQ and pool easy to get to, but not too close so little noise from others.
Everything worked ok, but unit is showing it's age with minor things needing fixing.
(Drain on AC is plugged so unit spits water out in front of the sliding glass door, towel rack in master bath kept falling off wall.)
Overall we had a great stay in the condo.

We had a wonderful stay here. The condo is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the location is very convenient to go all directions for site seeing. I would definitely return.

Additional information about rental rates
The condo will be cleaned prior to your arrival and the day of your departure. Additional housekeeping services during your stay are available for an additional charge $200 deposit required to hold your reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/e-mail. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have. Rates listed for 4 occupants. Additional charges for 5th and 6th guest. Maximum 6 occupants in condo. Every Maui Vision property listed is a non-smoking home, this includes the lanai (balcony) and hallways. The separate $200.00 USD security deposit you pay is fully refundable. It will be held and returned within 14 days after your departure date. The security deposit will be used if excessive cleaning or damage to unit is beyond normal wear and tear. NO SMOKING ALLOWED inside the unit or outside on the lanai or hallways. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy or be taken out of the security deposit. Rates subject to change without notice PRIOR to actual booking.
