Location is exactly what we were looking for...the pool is beautiful, and the beach is spectacular - steps away from both. We all felt safe, and greatly enjoyed Treasure Cay Resort amenities - staff is amazing, and are ready to help in any way you need.
Based on the feedback I provided the management team after our stay, I am told this property is currently undergoing necessary updates to its furnishings, and some much needed repairs. They were all amazing and responsive. I am keeping my fingers crossed! Hope this happens, as this is a gem of a location!
Being in Treasure Cay, was one of the most relaxing, fulfilling, adventurous, yummy, social vacations I have ever been on. One can relax on the beach and read until sundown... swim in the crystal clear waters on one of the most fabulous beaches in the world.... and feel like you are not in a tourist area.... it is very tranquil. Then you can eat fresh fish, lobster, shrimps and stone crab... fresh from that blue ocean....you can take boat tours to the surrounding, eclectic islands (Baker's Bay where the rich and famous have mansions).... or end up on some of the deserted islands... you can swim with huge stingrays that come so close to shore and are so used to humans....(unbelievable), you can socialize at the Marina of Treasure Cay, with the guests staying there, or with those that live there year-round (lucky them); you can find freshly baked goods on Treasure Cay, there is always some kind of local entertainment which adds to the flavor of the Bahamas.... all in all, it is like being in "paradise" ... surrounded by lovely people who work there and whose only concern is to make your visit as welcome and as pleasant as possible. Going to Treasure Cay for a holiday, should be on everyone's Bucket List!
My husband and I spend 1 week in November in this absolutely beautiful, cozy Treasure House. Everything was perfect, right on the beach, enormous swimming pool, absolutely breathtaking views and location. The Treasure House offers everything one may need for a one week stay from a fully equipped kitchen to washer and dryer, beach chairs and umbrella, linen etc.The beach is the best we ever saw, 3.5 miles of powdery white sand, completely unspoiled and uncrowded. Just what we were looking for. The little village of treasure Cay is close by, and has everything from groceries, liquor store, bank, even a spa! We highly recommend to rent a golf cart, so much fun driving around and going to the various bars and restaurants. We had a great time at the Coco beach bar (very good food and super friendly service and we also went to the famous Pizza night at the resort's Tipsy Seagull bar and enjoyed it very much. We loved our Treasure House and stayed in some nights just to enjoy this beautiful location. We also visited Green Turtle Cay and Elbow Cay. One week was not long enough, but we will surely be back.
