Peaceful and Relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

My fiancé and I had a wonderful trip. I have been to time shares and rented other homes through flipping sites...I always pack every necessity I can think of. With the cabin, I was overpacked. Jeff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We wanted for nothing and in the end partook of more of the goodies he left us than anything I brought. We will definitely be recommending the cabin to friends and family looking for a trip in the area!

Wonderful

Southern hospitality at its finest! Thank you for making our stay very special. The kids adored their new "puppies" and our son thought it was the coolest when he caught his first fish. Many sweet memories with our kids were made here. Thank you so much again!

Perfect setting for quiet weekend away!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I were looking for a quiet weekend away. The cabin was perfect. Location is excellent - close enough if you want to adventure, far enough away to disconnect. What put our stay over the top was the hospitality. They didn’t just want to rent us a cabin, they wanted to add to our reason for getting away in the first place. Can’t recommend Holly Berry highly enough!

Felt like a pampered and welcomed guest.

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in many cabins; but we have never felt as welcomed and pampered - the cabin/kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Jeff goes above and beyond by supplying a great assortment of breakfast items, beverages, snacks, toiletries. Then above that there are gifts and surprises throughout the cabin. From the time we started the booking process/communication he was very helpful and when we got to the cabin and saw how well it had been prepared for our stay, you could just tell that Jeff seems to enjoy welcoming others to his cabin and he wants their time spent there to be special. Thanks again, Joyce & Jerry

22nd Anniversary trip!

  • 5 of 5

Great getaway for two! We really enjoyed our stay, the fishing was great, we would have liked to have a TV, we watch TV at night just to wind down before we go to bed. But that's no biggie! Jeff the owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, the cabin had anything and everything you could ask for and then some. Very responsive to emails. Definitely a place to just sit back and relax!

The Much-needed Get Away!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were looking for a quick 3 day get-away from work and his non-stop ringing phone and this lovely little cabin really fit the bill. From the day I booked the cabin, until the start of our vacation, Jeff was in contact with me. The day we arrived we were amazed at how beautiful the valley was and how perfect his directions were. After a 3 1/2 hour drive, we immediately unpacked and had a nice cold beer on the back deck overlooking the lake and just enjoyed the quiet solitude. The house was nicely stocked with anything we could've needed. We cooked 4 meals and the kitchen had all the basics we needed. Jeff stocked the fridge with eggs, milk, juice, waffles, and even some ice cream!! There's also a really nice gas grill on the back deck where we grilled some burgers. We ended our evenings watching some movies on the DVD player in the bedroom and drifted off on one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house and it was the perfect place to come back to after a day of hiking in Cloudland Canyon. And....thanks to Hurricane Harvey, the weather was spectacular!!! Thanks, Jeff...for letting us share a little slice of your heaven.

PS...and I almost forgot the most awesome thing of all....my husband's cell phone had almost ZERO reception at the cabin!! ha ha....we LOVED it!
