Better than Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home over our son's graduation from NAU. It was the perfect way to gather our family for this special celebration. The spacious kitchen allowed us to cook with comfort. All the bedrooms were very comfortable. The ping pong table in the garage was a BIG hit for kids and adults alike. The warmness of this home helped make our very special weekend even better. Kim was super helpful with our "prior to arrival" questions. Thank you!

Fabulous home for group meeting!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home as the "meeting space" for a small team strategy retreat (and 4 of our group also stayed in the home). I am also a vacation rental homeowner myself and have very high standards. We were THRILLED with the accommodations, and Kim could not have been more helpful and accommodating! It's hard to find a home where a dozen people can sit in comfortable chairs and couches for 8 hours of work. The lodge-like ambiance made for a very serene environment which allowed us to get our work done. The heavily treed lot makes the home very private, everything is spotless, and the bedroom layout was conducive to privacy. The great room and kitchen were just perfect for our group, and when we took breaks we could enjoy the crisp mountain air on the wrap-around deck. We were very pleased with the home and Kim's hospitality - thank you for having us!

Excellent base for a real Flagstaff experience

  • 5 of 5

Our group of six women, who met in 1968, when we all lived on the same floor at college, gathered in Flagstaff for a bi-annual reunion. This home was perfect for our needs. We each had our own bed. There were plenty of bathrooms, so no need to stand in line to shower, wash our faces, and brush our teeth. We enjoyed the large, well furnished kitchen, the dining room, the multiple sitting areas, and the deck off the dining room. The interior decor and the Ponderosa pines on the property give the place an authentic southwestern feel. During our stay, we visited the Museum of Northern Arizona and the Snow Bowl, took an excursion up to the Grand Canyon, and drove down Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona. We ate most of our meals at home, but breakfast at MartAnne's was a big hit. Kim was most accommodating. She allowed us to check in earlier than the normal check-in time and always responded promptly to our text messages.

Family Reunion Paradise

  • 4 of 5

This place is huge! It has a little something for every generation. There is plenty of room to congregate or retreat, depending on your mood. The hot tub had plenty of jets and the kitchen was well appointed. We ended up having enough sheets and towels for four different families that stayed here. Although, if the hot tub is your thing, you might want to bring extra pool towels. We had no trouble with the TV (didn't use much but we did some), the wifi, or the appliances. Washer and dryer were even stocked with detergent! I was able to relax right away. You can tell that it is clean and well cared for. No issues at all. The neighborhood also felt safe and it was quiet but close to everything. I was comfortable letting the little one roam a little. This place has everything we needed and most of what we wanted.

What a great experience. Well maintained, excellent property

  • 5 of 5

Did need some more inclusions, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags etc. We have a large party of 13 occupants. Hot tub was a major rent factor relative to other properties and was non usable due to lack of maintenance for 2 days of our stay. Owner was responsive but did not suggest compensation for lack of use of hot tub. Will consider future use but will look carefully at other properties. May consider same property if owner considers re-compensation for lack of hot tub use. Really did enjoy stay. Thanks for a great stay. Jim

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your review. We strive to provide our guests with the best service and stay possible. I did contact our spa technician minutes after your call. To my knowledge he was able to reschedule his day to service the spa. Please let me know if this was not the case. It is important to note...we have the spa treated between each reservation. Thanks again for your review as it betters our service.
