Very nice, large great room with beautiful kitchen and a good location.

  • 5 of 5

There were 5 kids and 6 adults in our party but we had several other local visitors who came over to share a few meals, and we had plenty of room in this comfortable house. The great room is enormous and the kitchen was modern with two islands, great for food prep and as a place to put food out for buffet style dinning. The kitchen had a toaster, a double oven, coffee maker,.gas stovetop and lots of utensils. The ice maker on the freezer door was broken but we could still get ice by simply opening the door and reaching in. The main microwave was also broken, but there was a temporary one right below it. There was a large pantry right off the kitchen that was very convenient for food storage. There was also a washer and drier next to it that we used frequently (detergent was provided).

There was one main dinning table that I believe sits 8. We brought the card table over next to it to provide seating for another 8. There are also seats at the second island. If the weather is nice, you can also dine outside on the deck. There is a large gas grill on the deck that we used to grill salmon the first night.

The beds were very comfortable and we never had any issues with hot water. At one point we blew a fuse and texted Kim to see where the fuse box was loaded and she responded back very quickly and we were able to flip the switch and fix the problem.

Parking out front is also very spacious. They house is located on a quite neighborhood street with other large, nice homes. There were occasional neighbors out for morning or evening walks, which some in our family also did. My daughter and I went for a couple of runs to Fisher Point which is accessed by a trail just down the road.

The highway is located just a few minutes from the interstate making it easy to explore the area.

We were very happy with the home and recommend it to anyone considering a stay.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Kimberlie for having the most beautiful home to host 10 of our relatives from Minnesota. Everything is perfect in the home, and everyone enjoyed staying there for the 4 days. They especially liked seeing the deer on and and near the property. A true highlight for all the hunters in the group. This is a great location for anyone staying in Flagstaff - close to everything in town, and easy to get to Sedona, and other local sites.

Great house, Great Family Reunion

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved the house. We had a large group with 3 little ones (ages 1,2 & 3). Everything was on one level. We were able to be together regardless of our activity. Someone was always with the little ones and no one missed out on anything. It was especially hot when we were in Flagstaff (July, in high 90's), so the open area of the house got warm in the afternoon. We just planned outings then and the house was cooling off when we returned. The bedrooms were always cool and there were fans throughout. The apt. over the garage was perfect for the little ones and their parents--and it was air conditioned.

There was plenty to do: The adults hiked in Walnut Canyon and were able to see ancient cliff ruins close up--not as strenuous as we had feared. We all visited the lava beds and pueblo ruins and ball courts at Sunset Crater and Wupatki National Monuments. Everything was amazing and close up. The Meteor Crater visitors center and museum is fascinating and air conditioned--and the crater is the best preserved in the world!! The adults were blown away by the Lowell Observatory 3 pm tour of the observatory. Our guide showed us how the telescope works and its history. They also have a wonderful little gift shop. The museum of Northern Arizona has a wonderful Native American collection, including a lot of Native American jewelry. The jewelry in the gift shop is exceptional.

The house was perfect for our celebration of my mom's 90th birthday. It was our best family reunion ever!
