Very Disappointing - We Travel Here Annually and This Really Soured Us

When we arrived at the property at 9 pm after a long travel day with two young toddlers in tow, we found the property to have no running water. It had been turned off. The property manager responded quickly to my call, but water could not be turned on until mid-day the next day. We weren't sure if we would be staying or going to a new place so we couldn't unpack, grocery shop, make plans, etc until this was rectified. We felt like we lost a whole day off our vacation.

No working internet at the property as advertised. I needed internet to work, so this created a HUGE problem for me for the entire week. On our second to last day, an internet service company arrived and asked us where we wanted internet to be installed. Obviously, not being the home owners, we did not feel comfortable answering these questions so we told them to contact the owner.

The house was nice and seemed only "clean to the appearance." For instance, there was mold on multiple shower curtains, dirt underneath the tables, corners of the room, etc.

Property Managers were responsive enough to our initial issue with the water, however there was no follow-up. No follow-up on the internet issue after being notified. No offer to compensate or provide partial refund. We travel to this area every year, and used to always use VRBO to book those travels. We may have to reconsider for the future. Very disappointing.
