We went from 10/1 to 10/8/16 which is the end of the season. This was our second time at this location. This year it was showing its use and wear and tear. We will probably look for another location on the beach next year. WiFi was not working when we got there and refrigerator was not cooling items. Wifi fixed immediately but refrigerator took three calls/emails and we lost some food.
But again, if they invest to fix the cracked floor tiles on landing and add some paint here and there it is a great location. Parking is tight because it is an end unit and there are three layers of houses and this one is way in back, closest to the beach.
Could use some another chair or two in living room.
We had 9 of us in this great location right on the beach. It was wonderful to walk out the back door and play in the surf! (We were here during the highest number of shark bites off the Carolina's coasts but it didn't keep any of us out of the water. Plus, when the tide is low, it creates this little "kiddie pool" right out the back door where a sand bar separates you from the big blue ocean. Perfect place for younger ones to swim in knee deep water.) There was plenty of sun on the upper deck until about 3pm - perfect! The big windows keep this place light and airy feeling. The upper level was wide open for great family time in the evening when we would cook some fresh seafood and fish from Surf City Crab and then played cards with the kiddos and grandparents. We packed light so the washer/dryer was very handy and the outdoor shower and hose kept the sand outside. We walked to the The Daily Grind or Hunga Bunga for coffee every morning and there are some pretty good restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for a summer vacation we'll never forget!
