What makes this lodge unique

There are so many activities in the summer!

Garnet Lake (2 miles away) is a beautiful place to swim and picnic. When you hike the trails on the property, venture into the little ponds created along the streams. Be careful, the rocks may be slippery. Don't forget to visit Lake George and spend a day at Six Flags amusement and water park. There are two whitewater rafter companies with guides: Cunninghams and the one right at Route 8 and 28 (Beaver Brook Outfitters).

Great Stay, Amazing Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at Reno's cabin. Perfect place for a guy's weekend. Open wilderness, trails, lakes nearby and not too far of a drive to Lake George and Saratoga

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house has a lot of character and was very clean. I stayed with my family (2 adults/2 kids) along with two other families (with the same adult/kid ratio) for a ski trip to Gore Mountain and we had more than enough space. It is located about 15 minutes away from the mountain and has easy access to the neighboring towns for shopping/restaurants. All six kids stayed in one room with the double beds(using the foldout bed couch for two of them), two adults stayed in the master, and the other four adults used the other bedroom with two double beds. There was a foldout couch in the second bedroom and another bed in the loft area which could have had 4 more people sleep comfortably. The living and dinning areas were very comfortable and spacious for 12 of us (we had an adult table and a kid table). The fireplace (and wood) were awesome. It was immaculately clean and there are informative signs all over the house to help with garbage, TVs, fireplace, etc. Reno was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The forecast called for snow on our last day and he was generous to offer to stay an extra night if the roads were too bad to drive home. What a nice guy. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

Beautiful home in an idyllic location

  • 5 of 5

We spent 4 nights at this lovely home while skiing at Gore Mountain. The drive to Gore from the house was about 15 minutes and the town of North Creek was only a minute or two beyond that. There are some nice shops, a grocery store and a liquor store in North Creek, so although the home feels very remote, civilization is not far away.

The home is set in a pretty glade of trees. When we arrived it was still decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. It was VERY cold while we were there, but with the fireplace going, the home was warm and cozy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and there was a lot to do when we weren't skiing like pool, ping pong, darts and games. There were trails for walking although we didn't venture too far due to the cold!

The owner was very responsive to the couple of questions I had. My only suggestion is to provide a bit more information when checking in and out like the WIFI password, local restaurants and stores and what to do about sheets, towels and the dishes when leaving.

We had so much fun that our two families hope to make this an annual event! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful, huge house incredibly well kept. Every detail attended to.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience in this home. It was a 4 day ski vacation and the weather kept us in for half of it. Yet it was one of the most wonderful winter trips we've had. Huge roaring fireplace with unlimited wood, pool table, incredibly spacious. We loved it and will come back every year!

Perfect ADIRONDACK house

  • 5 of 5

Great house for multiple families!! We stayed here for a long weekend with friends and loved it!! The teenagers loved the ping pong and pool tables. The adults loved the decks. The house was even better than the pictures depicted. We found plenty of things to do within a short driving distance. The hiking was great and the cute town of North Creek had nice dining options!!
