This home is made for entertaining with a spacious open floor plan. We are just five miles north of the casino and movie theatre or twenty minutes to Paul Bunyan Land and Brainerd. Great dining is also just up the road at several wonderful family friendly establishments. There is also the best pizza joint that will even deliver right to your door.
Grab the kids and some friends or relatives and come make your summer the best ever.
Quiet and safe dead end road with no traffic.
As a busy family with three growing kids that live in the northwest suburbs we use this home year round to enhance our families memories and time spent together.
Maureen purchased this house in 2007
We love the quiet dead end street and close distance to the Twin Cities. Wonderful views from sun up to sun down. Quiet bay makes recreation safe and fun. We looked for years for a level lake lot with private setting yetclose in and when we found it we knew this was the place.
Amazing cabin with great view of lake. Sleeps 12 comfortable. Great yard for kids to play in. We enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores. We would definitely book it again
This is a beautiful home right on Mille Lacs! It was so nice to stay in a home that actually felt homey with its decorations and color schemes..and not like a generic rental property. You can always tell when an owner loves and visits the rentals themselves! Maureen and Jeff provided so many more amenities than any other home my family has stayed in over the years! Even having coffee and tea, spices, cleaning products, etc. all on hand in case you don't bring your own! Our family greatly enjoyed the convenience of having the boat lift right there as well as being able to fish off the dock! There were even kayaks and a paddle boat provided! We played ping pong in the closed-in porch during all types of weather, and we took advantage of the fire pit and cornhole games too. This house provides a great option for families who love to fish and have quiet time enjoying the beautiful lake scenery! The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous, and it was nice to sit by the fire and enjoy the view while listening to the loons! There is plenty of seating outdoors as well, including a picnic table right next to the gas grill...making it very convenient to eat outside.
Our kids enjoyed the privacy of the bedrooms, bath and loft upstairs. The large living room is very accommodating with its sectional couch and chair and openness to the kitchen and dining areas. Garrison is only a few minutes away for quick trips to the grocery store and a few restaurants even....or fast food if you need a fix :). There is also a small theater nearby for rainy days too.
We greatly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend this property!
We had a great time! The pictures do not do this lake home justice. It was perfect! Our kids and grandkids ranged in age from 32 to 2 years old and there was something for everyone. The home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything you could ever need! We will definitely be back! Thank you again Maureen! It was wonderful!
Our stay was made more memorable in this beautiful and wonderful lake cabin. The pictures failed to project the ambience and cozy atmosphere. The place was so clean, organized, so sweet smelling all over, with an artistic and creative touch in every place and corner. Ammenities excellent down to the last detail of every need one can think of during a vacation. Maureen created a personal relationship right from the very start until the very end. It truly made our reunion of 34 years of friendship more special.
i would definitely highly recommend this place. We enjoyed the casino a few miles away and the bonfire along with our sweet corn. Summer time would have been a better time with more fun water activities. It was overwleming to be again with my classmates I haven't seen for 34 years who came all the way from Canada, CA, TN, NY and Chicago. It was a memorable and breathtaking getaway.
Each year my wife and kids go on a family vacation to a Minnesota lake. This was our first vacation to this lake and cabin and definately won't be our last! The ammenities were superb, the lake wonderful, and the list goes on and on. As our kids have gotten older and married or engaged we have added members to our vacation family. This year with the addition of some soon to be in-laws our number was twelve. We had a wonderful time and even though we couldn't keep any Walleye our daughter caught not one but two trophy Small Mouth Bass one of which is now getting mounted and is larger than the one you will see at the cabin. Maureen and her family made everything so easy for us and the neighbors are great (we made an effort to meet them). This is a great destination for any family. The location is ideal in that you are on a bay, it's quiet, you can sunbathe if you want or just take a nap in the shade.
Our extended family had a terrific time!! Maureen has the bathrooms stocked with shampoo, toothpaste and other items just like a hotel. The rooms where spacious and the lake view spectacular! It was a great place to relax and explore. We enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks and fishing from the dock. We roasting marshmallows around the fire pit and played with the extensive selection of lawn games and enjoyed the ping pong table. The kitchen was stocked well with pots, pans and utensils. We were able to prep and cook large meals with ease. We highly recommend and hope to return again.
