Enjoy spectacular views of the Swan River from this luxury fully furnished and well equipped condo located in downtown Bigfork. The views of the wild Swan River from the front deck will amaze you as they are unobstructed with the sights and sounds of a rushing whitewater Montana river just a few feet away. You will see nothing but the trees and river with the occasional exception of the wildlife that choose to visit. This 1330 sq foot condo plus 250 sq foot deck includes a gas barbecue and comfortable seating for outdoor dining.

The master bedroom includes a queen sized bed in the upstairs loft with its own bathroom and great views out the cathedral style windows.

The second bedroom has a queen sized bed located on

the main level with a separate bathroom that includes a Jacuzzi tub.

The kitchen and living area offer an open floor plan to maximize your enjoyment of the gorgeous views. The kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops plus a dining table for 4. The kitchen counter has 3 bar stools for extra dining. The comfortable living area centers around a rock gas fireplace.

While you appear to be isolated in the wilderness at the Chickadee Chalet in the heart of Bigfork you are but one block from downtown and shops, galleries, fine restaurants, live music and dancing and the Bigfork Summer Playhouse with live theater and professional productions that change throughout the summer with none of the hustle-bustle of a large city. Downtown Bigfork is also the center of all outdoor activities including fishing or sightseeing charters, bike rentals, kayak, canoe and paddle board, ski boats and jet ski rentals. Minutes away from the condo is the Swan River Nature Trail that runs the length of the famous 'Wild Mile' rapids. Run, walk, bike or fly fish along this beautiful hidden trail. The Eagle Bend Golf Course a 500 acre 27 hole master planned community is located 2 miles from downtown and offers the avid golfer the best in the valley. Eagle Bend is a public course and includes a restaurant and pro shop on site. Adjacent to the course is the Montana Athletic Club housing a complete work out center, pool, personal trainers, racquetball and tennis courts.

The Swan River flows into Bigfork Bay and out into Flathead Lake, the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi surrounded by alpine mountains. You can charter sight seeing and fishing boats and enjoy the beautiful shoreline or rent personal watercraft and enjoy the scenery at your leisure.

Your vacation would not be complete without a day trip through Glacier Park and its many historic lodges. As you travel over the Going to the Sun Highway and the breathtaking views of The Big Sky of Montana you may see mountain goats, moose, elk, grizzly and black bear, big horn sheep, pristine high mountain lakes, many waterfalls and much more too numerous to mention. Perfect Getaway in Bigfork!

Chickadee Chalet is the PERFECT location for a stay in Bigfork! We walked in to the most beautifully appointed, most comfortable unit we've ever rented. A beautiful streamside location provided a nice "sound of nature" when we left the doors open. We were able to walk to every place in Bigfork, & had decent access to Glacier Park & Kalispell airport. We will definitely book this unit when we are lucky enough to return to the Glacier area for a few days.

Gorgeous unit in the perfect Bigfork location!

This unit is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. We spent many hours on the terrace watching the deer and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Swan river. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Loved the setting -- Swan River a real treat!

We were thrilled with the quality of the condo and the setting. It was great to be so near the center of Bigfork. Only concern was the noise from the air conditioner.

Not really what it's cracked up to be

Bed upstairs is not a queen size, and not really comfortable for 2 adults. The noise from the Garden Bar across the way is incredible loud and annoying, even with all the windows shut. Band plays until 1am and when they don't play the music and partying goes to 2am. The location would be great if it wasn't for the noise. The unit was well equipped and the deck overlooking the Swan is really nice. Actually thought about staying there during the afternoon and finding a place to sleep at night.

Owner's Response: Owner's Response: Both beds in our condo are definitely Queen sized beds. The fitted sheets and protective mattress cover are also Queen size. We are sorry that the Bigfork summer weekend night time opportunities were not to your liking and impacted your Bigfork visit. Bigfork is a small community that is growing ever more popular due to its offerings. Osborn Landing is set off from the center of Bigfork next to the Swan River. From Osborn you are just steps away from 10 great restaurants, one of our country’s top ten repertory theaters, a state of the art Library, a renowned Art and Cultural Center and of course dozens of wonderful art galleries and boutiques. For nature lovers, a 5 minute walk will get you our majestic Swan River Nature Trail, Sliter Community Park, Wayfarer’s State Park on the Flathead Lake and several water craft rental companies that will help you enjoy our numerous lakes and rivers. And Bigfork is only a short drive away from Glacier National Park and several great hiking areas. Because of our growing popularity, Bigfork’s nightlife on the weekends is getting more exciting.
