I lived in this beautiful little condo since 2005 when I purchased and did a major remodel. An exciting lifestyle change prompted me to re-decorate and offer it for a vacation get-away. I am now living in Palm Desert CA. The bedroom has had a complete make-over and everything is freshly painted and furnished with new linens, etc.
Gayle North, Owner purchased this townhome in 2005
The LOCATION is the thing that drew me to this property. Everyone loves the atmosphere of the Eagle Bend Golf Course neighborhood with the pines and rocky hills. This town-home is also compact and efficient.
A quiet, cozy and comfortable place to come home to after a day of golf , hiking or sight-seeing. The neighborhood is welcoming and great for walks.
We found the Birchwood Townhouse very cozy and comfortable. We only used it for a place to change clothes, shower and sleep. We attended a family wedding and had lots to do in the four days we stayed. I did find a few moments to sit outside on the patio and do a little reading. It was very pleasant and relaxing. We found the townhouse very well equipped. I did not find a hairdryer, so I'm glad that I brought one. Otherwise I would have been very unhappy! Also, the TV does not have regular cable channels. It does stream Hulu and Netflix, which was nice, but we would have like to at least see some news. I would definitely recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
This unit is handy and compact. Just right for what I came to town for.....golf and sleep.
I loved my stay. The place is beautiful and cozy, and in a great location. Everything was perfect !!!
We spent a week at this townhouse and had a wonderful time. I loved the layout, the design, the furnishings, the location, and the neighborhood. All the comforts of home and then some. I would highly recommend this property for a nice getaway and definitely will return.
I just want to say thanks to Gayle for opening up her wonderful townhouse to us on our first trip to Bigfork, Montana. We had an amazing vacation and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Gayle's place. We could not of asked for a more peaceful and serene place to rest after our days of hiking and exploring Glacier National Park. My husband and I loved all the wonderful amenities Gayle provided her guests. The place was tastefully decorated, and extremely clean. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace after a long day of hiking, birdwatching, and exploring this amazing area. For those of you interested in birdwatching Flathead lake area is a perfect location. We saw Loons, warblers, red-napped sap suckers, western tanagers, rufous hummingbirds, falcons, hawks, and bald eagles to name just a few.
Thanks again to Gayle for opening up your beautiful place to us...we will definitely be returning to stay again during our next visit to Bigfork!!!
We rented this unit for a vacation and after checking in were shocked to find visible dust along the blinds and dirt piled up on the floor next to the doorfarme. Also, the dishwasher, which was a highlight for us as to not have to do dishes during our vacation, apparently broke the day before we got there since the day we checked in Gayle called to tell us we couldn't use it and she'd need to send a maintenance person. We opted to not have to deal with workers during our vacation and were forced to hand wash our dishes the whole week. When we checked out, we left our dishes from the night before and that morning for the housekeepers (which we paid a fee for) would be there that day to clean. We also stripped the bed and started the wash for them which was above and beyond our duty as a renter and a courtesy for vacationers to help the cleaning staff. We also took out EVERY garbage in the home and even donated our extra kids blanket since there wasn't any for use on the couch. So after nearly a month of not receiving our deposit, we had to contact the owner to ask what the hold up was and the amount of disappointment isn't even fully explainable in this short amount of space. First of all, we feel like this deposit was a scam. We've stayed in multi-million dollar homes all over the world and have always left properties exactly as we did this one. The whole point of having a housekeeper is that there is someone there to CLEAN UP THE PROPERTY! Gayle told me that she has never seen her property left so disgusting and falsely accused us of staining the bedspread which was stained when we arrived and we have pictures to prove it. She then tried to tell me there were 2 bags of garbage which I'm flat out calling a lie because we emptied all of the garbages even though I don't believe this was our duty. She also tried to say we scratched her floor by moving the table, however, we picked the table up and moved it instead of DRAGGING it as to avoid doing so to her floor. So i hate to call her housekeepers liars, but if there was a scratch it would have been from her incompetent staff being lazy, not us. She also told me that her housekeepers had to clean for an extra 2 hours?! Maybe they we're finishing from the previous time since not dusting is a clear indication that they didn't do a proper job. I'm so disgusted that she's accusing us of being poor renters for leaving dishes in a property we we're paying to use with a cleaning fee. Unreal. Would never rent again!
