Fantastic home for a wine country weekend

  • 5 of 5

We love this home! We stayed here with my extended family to have an early Thanksgiving celebration. There were 12 of us in the home and there was plenty of space for everyone. We love how open the living space is and we had beautiful views from the dining areas and the deck. The kids enjoyed the outdoor space to run around. It is located close to grocery stores, farmers markets, great restaurants and wineries. Everyone in my family (including my 80+ year old parents) were thrilled with this home. Thank you!

Very nice place, plenty of room for large group

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying here. We were a group of 4 couples and this was a great place for us. Plenty of room for privacy, yet nice living area for us to congregate. View off deck is great and area is very quiet. Highly recommend this location for a great trip to wine country.

The house and property was actually better than I had hoped after only reviewing on line.

We were there for my daughter's wedding at the Barlow Event Center downtown. Everything needed for a large, fun group was included at this house/property/estate. Definitely would book another event there. All guests staying and at BBQ raved about it. Only downside????......when asked multiple times, I honestly had to admit to guests I was not the owner. 😀

A convenient piece of paradise!

This house was perfect for our group of 8 adults! The rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. We absolutely loved relaxing on the deck with snacks and wine! And the hot tub was a nice way to end the day ;-)

Deep in the country, still close to town

  • 5 of 5

OK, let’s start by saying that we had about 20 people for a birthday party, with the full complement of 14 overnight folks. And it rained about four inches, so we were stuck inside and couldn’t even use the beautiful deck. And it was perfect: large enough yet cozy, beautifully arranged with several separate gathering areas that were nicely linked. So some were in the kitchen, some were in the breakfast area, some in the dining room, some in the living room, and everything flowed together. We agreed afterwards that the party was actually better for the rain.

Everything about the house is wonderful. The kitchen was efficient and beautifully equipped. There were plenty of plates, glasses, serving platters, etc. We even made use of the slow cooker. The beds were great, the hot tub was fantastic, and the parking was convenient. Perhaps the best part was the location: incredibly close to town (you can easily use one of the bikes, as some of our guests did) yet you feel like you are deep in the Sonoma countryside. Great hiking and bike trails and fine views. And Sebastopol is a little gem.

So, if you are looking for a good-sized place (and this is perfect for any number, since there are three good upstairs rooms and a more casual, quite separate space for eight down below), come here. You definitely will not be disappointed. Oh, and the house is quite beautiful in and of itself, without a speck of affectation. It was a completely satisfactory experience.

Beautiful property, fantastic house

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here on a girls' long weekend trip in February, and it was just delightful. The house was clean, spacious, and sat on a fantastic property nestled among the trees. Throwing horseshoes in the back yard was almost as fun as watching the stars at night from the hot tub. We had 6 girls, so only 2 of us had to share a room. Any more and it might have been a bit cramped but for us, it was perfect. Would definitely recommend this house!
