Great cabin, well kept.
A great little original Estes Park cabin from 1910. Of course all updates have been added , but it still has the
'Back in the day ' charm. The interior is mostly all log, has a new kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one queen , full, twin ) back covered porch and private hot tub with a roof over for privacy. We are only 2.5 miles from downtown Estes Park on US 34, 100 feet from the river (NOTE !!! NEAR THE RIVER NOT ON OR TOUCHING THE RIVER, ) with great fishing, catch and release only. Incredible rock outcroppings in the back yard.

About Kevin & Wendy Dunn
My daughter and I moved from MN almost 18 yrs ago. We lived in a tiny 650 sq foot cabin where I still live today with my husband Kevin. Married 3 yrs ago. He is so very talented at building. It works well because I have all these idea's and he just makes them for me !! We did loose an entire property in the 2013 flood. We were so very devastated. Everything we had worked on for 10 yrs was gone. Not even the land was left. We began working on what we had left and trying to be thankful we still had our little cabin ' HOME ' I have 3 children, grown and gone, but now spend almost everyday taking care of my grand kids shown above. I enjoy playing music and singing. I play bass guitar, acoustic, and a little piano. Have been in bands for 28 yrs .Kevin enjoys building which is a great thing !!
Kevin & Wendy Dunn purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why Kevin & Wendy Dunn chose Larimer County
I bought this property because so many other people were doing the vacation rentals here. I just knew I would love this, and still do very much !

Thanksgiving Holiday Stay
We stayed in this adorable cabin for the Thanksgiving Holiday 2015. We have a family of 4. Hubby, Me, and 2 teenagers. We were cozy and comfortable staying in this cabin and it was very close to town. We would love to stay here again!
Beautiful and so clean!
When we got to the cabin we didn't know how awesome it would be. It was super clean and just so nice. Perfect spot. The parking was a little difficult but only because the driveway is in a weird spot. My husband just backed in when we parked and then we didn't have any trouble. The hot tub didn't work the first night but they got out and fixed it right away. It's in a great spot too, not right inside town but not super far out so it was only a couple minutes to drive into the shopping district or into the Rockies. My husband and I went alone but it would have been plenty of room to bring the kids or another couple.
ADORABLE cabin with PRIVATE hot tub!!
ADORABLE cabin with updated modern amenities including a gas fireplace and a PRIVATE hot tub in the back yard. PERFECT home base for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park! We LOVED the covered hot tub as a RELAXING way to start and end each day in the privacy of our own back yard abutting the natural rock cliff behind the cabin. Nice bathroom with a comfortable shower. The cabin was very clean and exceptionally well decorated throughout! Nice kitchen with all of the necessary items to make you feel at home as well as a gas BBQ grill on the back porch. We LOVED our stay and would highly recommend it! One recommendation would be to try to check in for the first time in the daylight as it is much easier to identify amongst other cabins nearby especially since the individual address did not appear in our GPS.
Great cozy cabin
Cabin was clean and perfect for us. Estes Park is a couple miles down the road and Thompson River close to the cabin. We were able to get Wi-Fi in the cabin. LOVED the back deck area with hot tub (awesome after each days hike) and the privacy, very cozy! Great value!
Great little cabin just a few miles out of town.
A clean and cozy cabin just outside of Estes Park, and only a few feet from the Big Thompson river. The Wendy was easy to work with, and while cell phones don't always work in the canyon, the wi-fi at the cabin was great. The cabin is close to the road (as are all other cabins in Thompson Canyon), but noise from the road was not an issue. Rocky Mountain national park is only a 20 minute drive away, and the Gem Lake trailhead was only 15 minutes.
Thank you & all the best.
