A gorgeous, 2-stories, terraced luxury designer house situated in a very quiet ('village-feel') area of Earls Court “village” (2 minutes walk to tube, Zone 1).
The upstairs flat in the house boasts a modern open plan living and dining area, with exit onto 60sqm roof terrace; and a designer zebrano wood and black granite curved kitchen with bar seating area for 3 people; American style fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ovens, etc.
Two high-end double-bed bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, one also with walk-in closet, wooden floored, are available to guests, sleeping 4. Both rooms have AC and Bose surround systems and are very quiet.
This is a rare opportunity to experience living in a high-end, luxurious spacious private residence, not a rental property.
First bedroom is a large double-bed luxury room, with walk-in closet, and own en-suite shower-room. Bose surround system, AC, wooden floors. Very private room.
Second bedroom is one floor up, and has a 160cm wide bed, good closet space, and an en-suite bathroom. AC and Bose surround system too.
In the living room area there is a glass 10-people dining table with large skylight above, gas fire place, white leather sofas.
All mod-cons, plasma TV (cable), internet, Bose surround stereo, AC.
The house is on a one-way side street in a row of pastel coloured terraced-houses which gives the area a feeling of a small village - it is very quiet.
Yet only 100m away from restaurants, pubs, shops, transport, and all amenities of Earl's Court; 1min walk to supermarket (Sainsbury's).
3 min walk to tube Earls Court, Zone 1 (Piccadilly & District lines).
35 min to Heathrow airport direct by Piccadilly Line (for only about £6)!
10 min walk to Hyde Park.
10 min to 'museums' quarter', i.e. V&A museum, Natural History museum, Science museum...
Less than 15 min from Harrods, or Buckingham Palace.

I bought this home to make a home out of it and over a whole year completely gutted it and refurbished it to the highest standards (not rental standards!). It is now only temporarily available for short lets.
The house is in an amazingly quiet, village-like side street, giving it almost a rural feeling, yet less than 100 yards away is the hustle and bustle of London - with all the benefits it brings.
Most of London's attractions are within a 5-20min bus/underground ride away.
Hyde Park is 10 minutes walk away.
The owner, Natalia, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The flat was clean and comfortable and convenient. Natalia had just hired a rental company on the same street as the flat, and I do think there are small "kinks" to be worked out. First of all, there was a heat wave when I was in London (pushing close to 100 degrees), and I did not recall that the flat had AC in the bedroom (never needed AC in London in the past!). I visited the rental facilitator and asked about fans or ac or anything for relief and was told there was nothing. After texting Natalia (during a very hot sleepless night), she reminded me the bedrooms had air conditioning. What a relief! I just wish the company was better informed. Also, the flat has large sky lights, so with no air throughout, the living room and kitchen heated up and were not inhabitable during the heat wave (for one particularly bad day primarily). It felt like 110 degrees in there. The weather was no fault of Natalias......just giving fair warning on the off chance there is another heat wave. When the temperature dropped to 84, and we closed the main room curtains and left the bedroom door with the air on, it was much better.
The upstairs bedroom also consisted of a futon mattress. When I told Natalia I was too old to sleep on a futon :) and the 4" think "mattress" was very uncomfortable, she very quickly ordered a thick mattress pad for me and it was so much more comfortable -- made a huge difference. I really appreciated her quick response and her understanding about the situation. In all the hotels and rentals I've stayed in, this is the first time I have been in a situation where a mattress was just unacceptable.
The last comment, which Natalia may want to address with the rental company, is there was no soap or small shampoos available. I normally use my own hair products, but my shampoo leaked. My bathroom had a previously opened bar soap at the sink (fine). I asked the rental company if they could provide some bath accessories (my experience is there is a small bit of these necessities and once you're out, you are on your own). They brought me a large size liquid hand soap and about 10 bottle of small size shampoos! I dug in my toiletry bag and found a shower gel. Also, my bathroom had one roll of toilet paper on the dispenser, and my daughter had a roll and a spare. Seemed a bit on the skimpy side as well.
All in all, I would stay here again! Thank you, Natalia!
This is a lovely two bedroom, two bathroom flat that is 3-5 minutes walking distance to the Earl's Court underground station. We stayed here with my wife and kids for sight-seeing while I was attending a conference in town. Natalia is a great host and her place is very comfortable and set in a nice neighborhood with plenty of grocery and other shops along the way to and from the underground station. With the awesome London tube system, you pretty much can use this property as a base to explore anywhere in London.
This was our very first experience with VRBO. This is a great unit as far as finishes, location, rooftop access. Homeowner was very accommodating for our arrival and departure as well, and provided much helpful information for our first days in London (maps, suggestions for dining, etc.) and was very communicative prior to visit to ensure we had everything in place for a very satisfying visit to London. The kitchen was a dream, and having now stayed at two other VRBO units, we were very happy to have access to a wide range of spices and basics like aluminam foil and zip lock baggies. We enjoyed the roof top, but there was no seating area.
One thing for future travelers to take note of is that the owner may use one of the bedrooms in the unit while you are renting (we understood this beforehand so it wasn't a problem for us, but it is something to consider - it won't be a good location for a romantic getaway if one of the bedrooms on the lower floor might be occupied!) Also, the lowest level is rented long-term, so there is a shared entrance to the flat. The owner did come into the apartment unannounced when we were home and once again when we were gone. That was a little weird.
The home was clean and well maintained. It was great to have the Tube and buses right there for easy access. Natalia and her sister were both very nice and responsive when I asked questions.
Our family of four (2 teens) had a great stay at this duplex Earl's Court apartment. It is a perfect location for visitors to London...very close to all the London sights and 5 minutes from the Earl's Court Tube (2 lines). Located on a very quaint, quiet street with restaurants and shops a block away. 30 minutes on the Tube to Heathrow. The apartment was beautiful, sun-filled, comfortable, spacious and very clean. So great to have a beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Natalia was very responsive and easy to work with. Why would you stay in a hotel? We will definitely stay there the next time we are in London.

As this is a quiet residential area, no parties are allowed, and noise has to be kept to a minimum after 10pm on weekdays and before 7am, and after 11.30pm and before 9.30am on weekends. There will be a house-guide with rules at the property which I kindly ask to be followed.
