You’ll return to the “Boonerang” Again and Again! Secluded 3br/2ba vacation chalet is conveniently located less than ten minutes to either Boone or Blowing Rock and just minutes from the Wahoos Water Rafting adventure or Appalachian Ski Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Outlet Shopping, Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, restaurants and more! You will love relaxing in the greatroom by the fireplace. Lots of glass to view the beautiful mountain scenery and view of the mountains in the distance. Large deck to enjoy the peace and quite – yet only 5-10 minutes to enjoy the areas activities.
This Spacious chalet will sleep up to 9 to 10 people with 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full, 1 queen sleeper sofa, 1 futon bed and a port-a-crib.
Comfortable beds, nice fireplace, well appointed kitchen, very clean. The driveway is one steep climb. No way are folks getting up here in snow or ice, even with 4wd. Parking is basically enough for one large car or truck but place sleeps 10 (multi-family). Owner gets back to you with information quickly, which is a plus.
This cabin is centrally located, right off 321 between Boone and Blowing Rock. Well equipped with everything you'd need. Great vintage vibe. A decent long range view when foliage allows. Only downside we found as a family with all grown children coming from different areas was parking was a little tight with all vehicles.
The location of this cabin makes it super convenient to take day trips to Grandfather Mountain, Boone, and of course the Tweetsie Railroad. Everything we might have needed was there in the cabin and the view coupled with the cool breeze blowing in made it next to heaven. We were able to take my daughter back and forth to the amusement park and come home for lunch and dinner. Served our purposes beautifully....thanks....
The location is very close to Boone, and relativly gclos to blowing rock and grandfather mountain. The house is beautiful, with a spacious common area. The guest bedrooms were a bit cramped for someone over 6ft tall. The beds were a bit firm for my tastes. The kitchen has all the things you would need, including items remembered from my childhood. It was a great home base for my trip this summer.
