Quiet and peaceful! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch looking out over the river.
As avid bikers we thoroughly enjoyed our rides along the river as well as the creeper
The cabin was perfect for our needs and Jeanie was so nice and thoughtful
Highly recommend 🤩
Cute vintage Cabin on the river
Enjoyable stay at this cute vintage cabin. Nice open den with a great fire place. Loved the horse shoes going up the steps. A lot of neat touches. The cabin was clean and had all the basic things we needed. The owner was super helpful and made our stay very nice. Great view of the river/creek. We explored the Channels, visited Grayson Highland Park, and visited Damascus. It is a cozy sweet cabin, and we would gladly stay here again. The Hites

Beautiful River view; great rustic cabin
We greatly enjoyed our trip to Creeper Trail and used this place as a landing spot. It was accurately described in the ad. The only complaint I'd share is that being how old it is, there is definitely a musty smell and you might want to bring your own towels.
I’m pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the cabin and in Abingdon. I’m not sure if you felt the towels were not clean or if there were not enough of them. I washed them myself and I leave 2 bath towels per person for a two night stay. I look forward to having you back again soon. Thanks for taking the time to write a review.
Great place to get away
My husband and I booked the cabin for our honeymoon. The cabin has a great front porch over looking the river and also a seperate deck right on river with a dining table. We really enjoyed our stayed, the cabin is close to downtown Abbingdon and the VA Creeper Trail. Unfortually, we had to cut our stay short bc my husband got sick but the owner was very nice and understanding. I would definitely reccomend this place for a relaxing getaway.
Cute Cabin in a Peaceful Setting
We stayed 2 nights in late September - 2 adults and 2 dogs. The cabin was clean and comfortable and exactly as pictured. We loved the front porch and the deck down by the river. It had everything we needed for a quite weekend away yet was an easy drive into Abingdon and close to hiking and biking trails. We'll definitely stay again and will recommend to friends traveling to Abingdon.

Great Quiet Getaway
My stay here was absolutely wonderful. The home is well-kept and has everything you could need (except food!). I enjoyed most of my time sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered front porch, just enjoying the sites and sounds of the river below. I was pleasantly surprised that the bugs here were not bad at all either! Jeannie was also fantastic to work with. Very responsive. I would definitely recommend!
