About the property

Condo, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 4

For your next family ski trip or couples getaway to Squaw Valley, this expansive one-bedroom suite at the Resort at Squaw Creek has you covered! Experience all the amenities of resort living - including a year-round outdoor pool, hot tub, on-site restaurants, and golf - with the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen right in your own cozy living space. This Squaw Valley vacation rental offers the perfect balance of community and privacy, recreation and relaxation.

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just minutes from beautiful Lake Tahoe, Squaw Creek is as gorgeous as it is pristine - home to big blue skies, crisp alpine air, and 360-degree views of mountain peaks and picture-perfect forest scenes. There's a reason the 1960 Winter Olympics were held here - the skiing is phenomenal! But don't overlook the summer's here. From golf, to horseback riding, boating, swimming, hiking, and mountain biking, the Squaw Valley is bursting with year-round fun.

With plenty of room for up to four guests, this resort suite offers all the comforts of home. In the living room you'll find cozy furniture, a gas fireplace, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with cable, and picture windows for gazing at the forest. WiFi is also included, for those who like to stay connected.

The resort is home to five restaurants, so your dining options are plenty, but after a day of fun in the sun or on the slopes, you might prefer to stay in and cook a low-key meal in your own fully equipped kitchen. A contemporary dining table offers seating for four, and doubles as a great spot for an after-dinner board game.

Get a restful sleep in the cozy bedroom with its luxurious king-sized bed and flatscreen TV. There's also a sleeper sofa in the living room, which sleeps up to two comfortably. Enjoy a hot bath in the spacious, spa-like bathroom.

You can get all the recreation and entertainment you need right here at this destination resort. It's a ski-in/ski-out resort, with an on-site triple chair lift, and Nordic ski fans will love the 400 acres of groomed cross-country trails! Or hit the green at the on-site 18-hole championship golf course, take a guided horseback ride or a hike on the many forested trails, try white-water rafting, kayaking, or fly fishing on the Truckee River, hit the tennis courts, or take the plunge on the 120-foot water slide at the resort's big and beautiful outdoor pool complex!

For the perfect mix of adventure and indulgence, book this Lake Tahoe-area vacation rental and relax into your inviting home away from home!

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Run down condo, reservation problem

 • 2 of 5

Our stay began with the book agent (Vacasa) not having informed the hotel of the booking, so we were forced to wait at the front desk while this got sorted out.

The unit was dirty and in a state of disrepair. The curtains hung down where they'd partially come off the rail. There was grime all around the edges of the dishwasher. The bathroom cabinet had suffered water damage and the wood at the base was rotting.

We were fine not having daily housekeeping, as described. Nor was the resort fee a problem. Wifi worked fine for streaming a movie. The pool and game area are nice and fun for family.

Robes would have been nice, hotel-managed rooms have them.

Hotel restaurants were good though expensive as you would expect. Valet/bell/ski concierge all helpful, though had a hard time getting out things to the door when we checked out - it took 30 minutes!

In short, won't use Vacasa again and won't stay at this property.

Great stay at Resort at Squaw Creek, Unit 607

 • 5 of 5

Hi, we just had another wonderful stay at the Resort at Squaw Creek. We had 4 days of spring skiing, sunshine and 50 degree weather, 1 day of rain, and 2 days of major snow. We actually welcomed the rain as it gave us a break from skiing. We have two boys, 9 and 10 and they enjoy non stop activities at the Resort - skiing, sledding, play room, big heated pool and jacuzzi.

Unit 607 was roomy enough for the 4 of us, and we had breakfast each morning as well as several meals in the unit. Very relaxing for my wife and I as the boys now know their way to the pool, playroom, and sledding slope. Also, the Squaw Creek lift area has some good skiing - blue, black, and double blue. Great trip.

beautiful room w small functional kitchen, but some info future guests should know.

 • 4 of 5

beautiful place to stay at, very quiet. Small functional kitchen. Just some info for future guests. 1. it's pretty expensive with the added fees, etc. came out to be almost $1000 for 2 nights. They do tell you the total price before you reserve it. 2. The condo is actually in the resort hotel. it is a room within the hotel, access to all the facility is just like you are staying right at the resort, which you are. (I didn't know that, I thought it would be at a separate building, condo area.) Hence it's very convenient. It's just that the room is not owned by the hotel, but rather, I guess run by the hotel. 3. Since you are literally at the resort, but staying at a privately owned condo, you have to pay a resort fee of $25 per day to the resort hotel, because you have total access to all the resort amenities such as pool and hot tub. This resort fee you have to pay to the resort hotel was not mentioned in the description until after you reserve the room. That's the reason I took off 1 star.

Clean and well appointed

 • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time. The condo was perfect for us and our two children. The kitchen was had everything you'd need and we discovered a dishwasher in a lower drawer before we left. Great use of space. Large beautiful windows in the bedroom and main living area made it feel open and had a wonderful view.
