About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great spring break get away
Beautiful home by Mt Hood with easy access to Portland or Hood River for the non skiers!
House was amazing and fit 3 couple and five kids with room to spare.
Zero complaints. I would rent this place again.
Great winter trip!
Large house plenty of room for 6 people!
Our family is big, the house accommodated all of us. It was our first family vacation ever. We enjoyed good food, laughter and stories. Thank you
Great place for a large group!
We had a large birthday weekend up at the property. It was perfect tons of room for everyone and all the kids could stay down stairs in the bunk bed area! The hot tub was wonderful and the setting was perfect. Everything was well stocked, kitchen, bathroom, towels, everything! We will for sure be back!
We managed to hit Mt. Hood during a heat wave. When we went into the house it was 99* inside. There were some fans inside, thank goodness. All of the literature as well as info I had in my brain said that the house had A/C. There were instructions in two books, ("For your comfort the house is equipped with air conditioning.") but we could tell that one of the compressors was not running. When we thought we had turned on the A/C, the reality was that hot air was being blown into the house. The customer service people at Vacasa were nice but could only suggest to open the windows, which of course we did and the fans helped cool it down. The next day our kids and grandchildren came. Upstairs was still warm so the open windows helped. However, the children are 4 and 2 and the windows are only 12-18" above the floor. The screens were easily bumped out by a 2 year old's head, so no open windows in their room. The second night the family of 4 moved downstairs to the bunk room which was much cooler, but not the queen bed for the couple we had expected. I know you can't change the weather but I would suggest the upstairs windows be made child proof and the literature be changed to reflect that there really is no air conditioning. Even though I'm pretty sure the description said there was A/C when I reserved it, the help team at Vacasa said it wasn't listed in the description so therefore it must not be, but the literature.......
Aside from that, the house is beautiful, kitchen well stocked, plenty of space, fun to be right on the golf course, and not too far from the resort. The house was clean, plenty of towels except wash cloths, laundry room great, hot tub very nice once the weather finally cooled off.
