Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We stayed with a group of 13 people with children. Had a great stay. The home was clean and spacious. Close to skiing/boarding at Mt Hood, and plenty of restaurants and amenities close by. Nice, wide open living room with cathedral ceilings and a nice outdoor hot tub. Would stay again. Wish wifi worked while we stayed there and upstairs bedrooms don't warm up as much as the downstairs ones.
The house is nice and big and had enough space for three adults and several teenagers to not to feel like we were piled on top of each other.
The fireplace never worked. We called the management company 3 times. The company called us back once and left a message saying that we should call back if we were still experiencing problems. For a ski trip, the fireplace was a big draw. It was very disappointing for it not to work.
Also, several outlets near the sink in the kitchen didn't work either. A couple of lights in the upstairs bathroom didn't work as well. There just seem to be quite a few small electrical issues that weren't critical but a bit annoying.
When we called about the fireplace not working, we were expecting an onsite handyman/manager to stop by and resolve the problem quickly, instead we got a voicemail from somewhere in Astoria Oregon, 4-hours away. Of the 3 times we called for help, we only received 1 call back which we missed, and the office never called back to follow up. A repair/maintenance person was never sent to help us with the fireplace issue.
The property description indicated access to a community pool of the resort. There weren't instructions on the location or directions to the pool. The kids took some time in the neighborhood and found the pool (we think), but it is an un-heated outdoor pool which isn't helpful in the cooler weather months.
The property is really nice, the home was inviting and relaxing ,the hot tub was great, overall the stay was wonderful. the only issue I had was not with the house but trying to get hold of customer service to ask any questions.
