The 1400 sq ft top floor features a master suite and loft that can be used for recreation or an extra sleeping area. The 1500 sq ft main floor has an additional master suite with a large open kitchen/eating/living area; all with amazing views from two story tall windows. From the main floor walk onto a 600 sq ft deck to enjoy clean mountain air and splendid views. Access to the Eyrie Lodge could not be easier. It is a quick 20 minute drive east on I-90 from Missoula and then 5 minutes off the interstate. Though easily accessible, the home is situated for the utmost privacy as it is not visible from any road or other home in the area. Sit on the deck and take in a majestic view of the surrounding mountains and the Clark Fork River. Take a short walk down the hill and spend the day catching wild trout in the blue ribbon Clark Fork River or drive 5 miles to the mouth of world famous Rock Creek where you will catch cutthroats, browns, and rainbow trout. In addition to the Clark Fork and Rock Creek, the Big Blackfoot River, made famous in the Robert Redford film 'A River Runs Through It', is located 15 miles away and the Bitterroot River, known for its dry fly fishing flows into the Clark Fork 20 miles downstream from The Eyrie Lodge. With all these options The Eyrie Lodge is a luxurious base camp for the fly fishing expedition of a lifetime. Keep track of the wildlife you see from the front deck: Geese, ducks, deer, elk, moose, turkeys, and eagles are frequent visitors. Your backyard is literally hundreds of thousands of acres of national forest just waiting to be explored. Other activities can include whitewater rafting, golf, horseback riding, swimming, or just floating down the river in an inner tube. Montana Snow Bowl is a quick 45 minute drive for winter downhill skiing.
