Enjoy the panoramic ocean views from this 3-bedroom, top corner, beachfront, south-facing condo at SeaScape on Maine’s historic 7-mile Old Orchard Beach. Watch sunrises over Prout’s Neck from the front deck, enjoy the sunshine all day long and then catch sunsets from the side deck. Although many people return to SeaScape year after year, this impeccably clean unit has been rented fewer than 10 times and has had only two owners.
The sun-filled living room has a deck overlooking the beach with views east to open ocean, south to the pier and the Biddeford Pool lighthouse and west over the marshes, and offers a large U-shaped sofa, recliner, rocker, TV, printer, electric fireplace, board games and puzzles. The kitchen is fully equipped with Keurig and regular coffee maker, food processor, waffle iron, lobstah pot and Downeast cookbooks. All rooms offer water and beach views. Bedrooms have ceiling fans and decks, either a queen bed, two twin which convert to a king or sleeper sofa with inflatable mattress, as well a LCD flat panel/HDTV with 150 channels, live streaming and DVD player and plenty of closet space. Beach cottage décor throughout, from Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma and Camden and Kennebunkport boutiques. Free private Wi-Fi is provided as well as 2 hair dryers, iron and board, fans and full-length mirrors. Smoke-free environment and beach. The building is wheelchair accessible, there are 2 assigned parking spaces in front of the building and 1 more next door. Sorry, no pets allowed. Please call us, with any questions or to make a reservation.
The condo has plentiful Maine guide books, board games, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, as well as recommendations for best restaurants, shopping and day/overnight trips. Just steps across our front lawn to the white sandy beach, outdoor grills or indoor heated pool (which you can reserve at no charge for parties). Convenience deli stores are within walking distance and the Palace Playland and Pier and just one mile down the beach. This beach condo is very comfortable and the perfect place to kick back and R E L A X!

Old Orchard Beach is a terrific beach for swimming (especially mid-day when the tide comes in over the hot sand), surfing, kite-boarding, biking, walking, bocce ball, horseshoes, sandcastle-building, shelling and just plain enjoying the sun, surf and salt air. Enjoy friends and family - living life as it should be. Our beach is ranked one of New England's top 6 beaches by Fodors (where Rose Fitzgerald first met Joe Kennedy!) and #1 in the world by for outstanding lobstah dinnahs with native blueberry pies. This lovely beach vacation property is located 20 minutes from Portland Jetport, 20 mins from the Old Port live music section of Portland, Exchange Street shopping and Portland Sea Dogs baseball games, 30 minutes from great Kennebunkport shopping, the Yarmouth Lobster Festival, ferries to Chebeague and Peaks Islands for lunch and dinner, as well as wonderful day trips to Ogunquit, Brunswick, Camden, Boothbay Harbor (Maine's most visited town; walk along the water's edge at Ocean Point and see and hear five lighthouses at once!) and the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Fabulous hiking and biking trails abound. Visit the famed LL Bean one hour north in Freeport for tax free outlet shopping or south to Kittery. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor (a must!) are a three and a half hour’s drive. Amtrak runs daily from Old Orchard Beach to Boston (Red Sox anyone?) and points south as well as north to Freeport, Brunswick and Rockland. The Farnsworth Museum in Rockland features a large collection of Andrew Wyeth paintings as well as those of his father and son and many other fine, nationally heralded artists. Visit Pemaquid Light, the lighthouse imprinted on the Maine quarter or Monhegan Island, and artist colony, with the highest cliffs on the eastern seaboard. Go on a clambake; take a boat tour of lighthouses, sometimes accompanied by seals and porpoises. Hop local ferries for tours of inner and outer harbors, or go deep sea fishing and even try your hand at lobstering with an authentic lobster fisherman. Additional local activities include tennis programs, golf, miniature golf, amusement and water parks, kayaking, sailing, parasailing, water skiing, surfing, windsurfing, wildlife viewing, surf fishing/deep sea fishing, fitness center/gyms, health/beauty spas, basketball court, antiquing, cinemas/movie theatres, horseshoes, horseback riding, Scarborough Downs Racetrack and quiet walks on the beautiful Maine State Seashore. This is why Maine's slogan is Vacationland!
A note re: Old Orchard Beach condo buildings: the buildings nearest the pier are ideal for families seeking proximity to the amusement park and night life. They also rent weekly and nightly so there is consistent turnover with related building wear and tear annd noise. From condo buildings near the pier and Palace Playland, you will hear live music and goings-on from the comfort of your LR/BR til the wee hous of the morning. Many are near the train station and share Maine's best beach with day-trippers from Boston. While we are 1 mile from the pier, we can still watch the Friday night fireworks from our deck and see the amusement park lights, or from our private patch of beach for SeaScape residents only. SeaScape is said to be the best managed building on the beach with common areas cleaned as much as twice a day day during summer weekends (most buildings do not even have cleaning on weekends). Many of the members of the condominium association board of directors are long-term, full-time residents and just plain love where we live.
The condo address is SeaScape, 221 East Grand Avenue, #8E, on the top SE corner of an 8-story building. All reservations at SeaScape are for four weeks minimum/28 days, see rental agreement Please phone with any questions. We would be happy to speak with you about our wonderful beach vacation spot and your winter plans. When booking, please provide your phone #. Thank you!

We have been going to Maine for decades but this vacation was by far the best ever. Location is perfect and the condo had everything we needed with the view and the beach as a bonus. We look forward to going back.
Couldn't have asked for more!!!
Vacation planning can be stressful, particularly when you're heading somewhere that you've never vacationed at before. That was where my wife and I found ourselves last year. Then, we had the great fortune of meeting Conni, owner of this beautiful property. As wonderful as the pictures are, they can't do justice to how spectacular it really is. My wife and I with our four kids and guests galore during the course of our month-long stay had a terrific vacation in this idyllic setting. Plenty of room to relax, entertain, wind down from a day on the beach (about 30 yards from the front door) or a night on the town. Needless to say, we're heading back this year!
