This sunny 6 bedroom water front lake house is a great escape for family and friends. To get to the house you must drive through a covered bridge and down a private road to the waterfront property.

There are two private docks with a floating raft for swimming. The docks comfortably fit 4 boats in deep water. There is a walk-in stairway to shallow waters which is great for young children.

The house has a beautiful indoor stone fire place and private outdoor fire pit at the water's edge. The house features a waterfront enclosed porch with dining room and porch living room.

The best aspects of the property include: the privacy (located off a secluded private road), evening sunset views on the water, deep water swimming from the dock, shallow water access from the walk in wooden stair well, views down the east, west and north sides of the lake

The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:

Great location! Large enough to fit our whole family!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great vacation on Squam Lake! The location was ideal! We rented a pontoon boat and were able to boat, fish, and tube. The kids had a blast! There are some great restaurants nearby but we did most of our meals at the house. We have 7 kids and they all were able to have their own space! The house is 1970's decor that makes it very comfortable! The Blenkhorn's were great and very responsive to any question or problem we had. I would highly recommend this vacation home!

Nice outdoor property right on the lake, we had a lovely week

  • 3 of 5

We had a great week overall. We loved the location, although prefer Big Squam to Little Squam, however the house does have an amazing site on the water's edge. The house suited us fine, but overall I would say the house is a bit run-down --- it fits a lot of people so that is a plus, but the beds/mattresses are old, and the furniture is weathered/old, and the kitchen is small. The nicest room is the porch but it is overcrowded with too many old couches that feel worn/dusty. I would say the house was moderately clean.

Excellent location. Beautiful views of the lake. The lake is pristine. Great dock for hanging out.

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time on little squam.

Basically went from the screened in porch to the dock for 7 days.

Swam and fished off the dock. The house was very clean & comfortable. The owners are extremely gracious.

Would highly recommend a stay.

If you bring a boat put in at "Babes" at the covered bridge.

Perfect lakeside vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week at the lake house. The house was comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids, with rooms to spare. The location is superb - quiet enough for the loons to pop by for a surprise visit, yet just a quick drive away from the town where we could get our fill of espresso drinks, great baked goods, and pretty much anything else we needed. There are plenty of activities in the area suitable for all ages. We would highly recommend the Loon Tour which goes out on the lake every Monday and Friday afternoon - reserve your tickets at the nature center. The kitchen is well stocked - we had dinner at the house every night. Except for a couple of rainy days, we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit watching the beautiful sunsets and the occasional fireworks from across the lake. Sara and her father were extremely responsive to any question we had and a pleasure to deal with. I don't think you can ask for more - we will be back!

Great Relaxing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Two families with 4 kids stayed for a week in July 2016. Great location, relaxing house, a doc for fishing and swimming , an outside campfire and awesome sunsets. What more could you want. We had a great time and the owners are extremely nice and went above and beyond to make sure you have a great vacation.

I highly recommend a lake vacation at the Squam Lake house !!!

Very accomodating, well equipped cottage with beautiful sunsets.

  • 4 of 5

This 6 bedroom, well cared for cottage, with western views, was ideal for lakefront/waterfront lovers. The large dock accommodated boats, kayaks, children's toys and still left room for dock chairs, fishing and other waterfront activities. The waterfront steps and a floating raft were a delight for swimmers! Porch dining with waterfront view was very enjoyable as well. My family commented on how well equipped the cottage was, especially the kitchen! A fire pit, overlooking the waterfront, for S'mores, made for enjoyable family evenings. I would recommend this cottage for families looking for top notch waterfront living on Squam.
