This house is a single level home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a beautiful ocean view with private steps to the beach. There is a private secure courtyard, a gas fireplace, internet, cable, garage, laundry facilities and good surfing! The small town is a 5-minute drive with great restaurants, shopping, pier fishing and community park.
Enjoy the view of dolphins, whales and surfers! The home is located on a sandy beach cove offering wind protection and a nice surf spot. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms with linens and towels. The house is wheelchair accessible. We are dog friendly and so is the beach.
We are on HWY 1 near Cayucos, Cambria, San Simeon, Hearst Castle and Big Sur. There is a lock box on the garage allowing entry. Arrangements can be made to to greet you when you arrive.
I am from the central coast and live in San Luis Obispo about 15 Min from Cayucos. I rent this house for my Mom. We have decided to start renting it by the month as she does not use it as often anymore. This house is a new rental listing and does not have any reviews yet. We hope you will be the first to offer one!
I own a Dental lab and a Pottery studio in town.I have rentals of my own in San Luis Obispo and have assisted my Mom with other rental property.
Shevon Sullivan purchased this house in 2006
This property is one of the best locations on Studio drive. It has it's own stair access right to the sand and the water is about 200 ft away. You can sit on the deck and watch the kids, dogs and surfers play. The fire place makes this house a romantic winter get away. The enclosed courtyard visible from the kitchen provides a gated safe place for the family pet or young ones to play.
When I rent places I always like the personal touch that helps bring the guests and community together. Discover new local products such as local soaps, bread, wine, olive oil, flowers and coffee. There are many places to dine, wineries, farmers markets, concerts in the plaza, kayaking, SLO children's museum and of course my pottery studio Anam- Cre' studio in SLO where you can take a class. My favorite day trip is Big Sur and on to Carmel. This beach in front of the house is a quiet beach, that is dog friendly and a great little surf spot! Don't forget to visit Art in the Park at dinosaur caves in Shell Beach. It is held every 1st Sunday with live music, food and great art! For day trips you can find wine tasting nearby, Hearst Castle tours, Sport fishing, Whale watching, Elephant seal viewing in San Simeon, 3 golf courses nearby and a nice community park in the town of Cayucos.
The house is just private steps to the sandy beach and has a beautiful view. We hope you will come to discover all that the Central Coast offers.
This home on the most beautiful strip of beach in all of the Central Coast of California has just a fantastic location. The amazing beach is just steps away from a deck with a view of the most amazing sunsets and sunrises I have ever seen. The waves are great and watching the surfers, dolphins, otters, seals and birds is just wonderful. Walks on the beach are great and the house itself is very comfortably laid out for a family visit. Would definitely go back!
There are wonderful places to dine and visit in the area. The surrounding towns have farmers markets, hiking trails, SLO children’s museum, kayaking in Morro Bay, Concerts in the plaza on Fridays in SLO and many wineries throughout the county. Up the coast in San Simeon is where the sea lions gather.
Cambria is a great place to go for lunch or dinner view galleries, live theatre at the pewter plough playhouse. I love the Sows Ear for a special dinner, Robins for lunch and Linn's For deserts!
Morro Bay is famous for the Morro Rock, beaches , fishing, trolley, coalesce bookstore, Dockside Fish market is a great place by the pier to eat fish tacos and hear live music! They also have a nice fresh selection of fish. Morro bay has a couple of wine bars Stax & Bella Vino's. Windows on the water is great.
Loso osos has Noi's Thai is a must! Great to bring home.
Cayucos where you are staying has some places you must visit. Taco Temple a favorite place to have lunch or dinner. Usually a wait and they don't take credit cards but go anyway,YUM!!! Schooners Wharf for a ocean view, great food and fun old fashion fishermen's bar! Old Cayucos Tavern and card room. Lots of fun, music and yes card games..This Little town is a small old fashion beach town, nice people, surfing and a quiet charming town.
