This 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 1980 SqFt comfortable chalet style villa on Lake Keowee was built in 2000 and is a great escape for any season whether it is a family vacation or a reunion of old friends from Clemson University. It features a deck with a gas grill and fantastic views plus a screened porch on the lower level adjacent to a large den with full sized bar.

Relax in front of one of the two fireplaces, watch Satellite TV or movies on the VCR/DVD player. The kitchen is complete with all the modern appliances. Keep your boat or PWC in the boat slip and swim off the dock in the clean, cool waters of Keowee Lake or take a day trip to Devils Fork State Park and Lake Jocassee (It's only 20 minutes).

This villa is very conveniently located in a gated community just 15 minutes from Clemson University (CU 11 mi.). World of Energy at The Duke Power Nuclear Station is 3 miles. CLEANING FEES:

Most rentals 'By Owner' add a cleaning fee of $50-$150, with Mountain Lakes the cleaning is always included in the published price.

EXTRA FEES: We have NO automatic mandatory charges.

PETS: In many of our houses (But not all) you have the option of bringing along your pet. We do charge extra for pets. Generally the charge is $75 per pet plus tax. Pets are usually limited to two per house. Be sure to inquire about bringing pets to the house you are renting. AND please be sure to tell us that you are bringing a pet when you make the reservation.

GARBAGE: We ask that you take your trash out when you leave. For many of our guests, it is routine to throw their trash bags in their boat when they are leaving the lake. If this is not convenient for you, feel free to leave the trash bags for the maid to take. If you do so, we ask that you leave the maid a suggested tip of $5 per bag.

SALES TAX:

Both GA & SC place the burden of paying Sales and Accommodations Taxes on the consumer, whether or not these taxes are collected by the Cabin Owner. We collect and pay these taxes so you don't have to. Taxes range from 7% to 12% depending on location and are INCLUDED in our posted rate. You will never get a bill “Out of the blue” for unpaid taxes on our rentals.

Not so much to be desired

  • 3 of 5

Cute house, is smaller than appears in pictures. Blinds on the windows are all broken which allows the afternoon sun to heat up the house - the AC cannot keep up with the sun's heat - thermostat set at 72, but house is 82 degrees. Twin bed is missing some slats. Shower liner on main floor bathroom needs to be replaced (Moldy). View is fantastic - right on the lake. TV on main floor does not work. Reported 24 hours ago and no word on a fix. Floors are squeaky as well.
