About Jody Little or Angie Jones
Blackberry Preserve is owned by four friends, one is a NC native and Appalachian State University Alumni, the other 3 came to NC by choice and fell in love with the NC high country.
Jody Little or Angie Jones purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Jody Little or Angie Jones chose Apple Ridge
Out of our love for the NC Mountain High Country came a search for the perfect mountain getaway to share. The Blackberry Preserve is a blessing to us and dream come true. In this home traditional cabin feel intersects with modern convenience and the perfect location. Nestled among tall trees and Rhododendron our cabin's private lot feels secluded, yet it's close to all the best the NC High Country has to offer. We instantly fell in love with this cabin, the area surrounding it and the people who so warmly welcomed us to Blackberry. We want visitors to the Blackberry Preserve to find peace and solitude among the natural beauty that surrounds our mountain retreat. Our sincere hope is that your stay will serve to refresh and renew your spirit.
What makes this Cabin unique
While Blackberry Preserve was the perfect home away from home when we found it, we've added personal touches and modern conveniences to make it as perfect for you as it is for us.

Great family experience !
Thank you for staying st Blackberry Preserve. We hope to hear from you soon!
Great place for parents and kids!
We had a wonderful time staying at the Blackberry Preserve with four adults and two toddlers. The house is very well maintained and had everything we needed. The loft was a great place to play with the kids and the adults enjoyed the deck and fire pit after the little ones went to bed. The location is great for quick trips to Blowing Rock and Boone. The only minor issues were the lack of outdoor green space and a couple of the bedrooms have skylights, which is great during the day but makes for a bright morning. Thank you for having us!
Beautiful! Clean! Very relaxing!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Blackberry Preserve. We were desperately in need of some quiet time to unplug and that's exactly what we got. Our daughter especially enjoyed having meals on the porch and watching the horse across the street. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The cabin was well stocked with anything we could have needed during our stay. It truly exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!
I booked this cabin for a fun girls weekend with all of my bridesmaids. The cabin is wonderful- very clean and well equipped with everything one would need. I definitely recommend this cabin and hope to book it again one day.
Loved it!!!!! Comfortable, well kept, well placed cabin close to everything.
Took our family for a 1 night stay. Owner was always available with answers to questions Very comfortable only wish it could have been longer. Our two grandchildren loved the Americana level of the house which was their own retreat. Close to everything. Definitely will go back in the Spring/Summer!
Very pleased with this house! Very clean! Definitely will be renting again.
We really enjoyed staying at this house. This house was large enough for our family of 8. Not far from Blowing Rock town at all! Look forward to coming back!
