This Villa is one of a kind and is two stories with a garden and parking. No hallways and people above, below. Located on West St with houses only on one side.
This townhouse is the perfect spot to stay in downtown Charleston. On a quiet residential street at the rear of the building, we enjoyed the private, gated patio space, beautifully landscaped and lighted. It was nice to have the downstairs living area and well-equipped kitchen separated from the upstairs bedroom and bath. The decor is sophisticated and everything was very clean and well prepared for our visit. Our host communicated with us frequently to make sure we had all that we needed to enjoy our stay. Since the location puts the market area and King Avenue within walking distance, we parked the car in the private space that comes with the unit and did not have to use it during our entire stay. We would be happy to rent this space again and recommend it highly.
I am a married 33year old that had to go on a conference and felt safe. There are locks on the gate and the door to keep me safe and everything inside was supurb: I would recommend this location to anyone. I got take out from all seafood locations without problem and took a brief walk. Will definitely stay again.
We hesitated in booking this townhouse because it was pricey for our budget. But it was a special occasion, so we decided to splurge. So glad we did! If you are looking for a way to immerse yourself in Charleston, this is it. It is located a couple of blocks from King and Market Streets. Parking is free and you can walk to just about anywhere. The townhouse is very quaint, but very clean and it has all of the modern conveniences. The owner even considered the small things like strategically placed nightlights, umbrellas and RO water. The bed and shower and the flat screen TV are top notch. Our weather was perfect, so we also enjoyed the private courtyard. We stayed for 4 nights in October. We will very likely be booking this place again.
Darryl's villa was well maintained and very clean. It had all the amenities as advertised. The king size bed was very comfortable. What a great shower and plenty of fresh towels for our week stay. The washer and dryer came in handy at the end of our stay. We found a great restaurant (Fulton Five) which was right around the corner and we also found a wonderful French Cafe(Cafe Framboise) one block away. Very easy acces to King Street(shopping), the Market area (shopping) and the many restaurants on East Bay Street. My husband and I will definitely stay at Darryl's on our next visit to Charleston. I would recommend the villa to friends and family visiting Charleston. Lastly, the owner Darryl was very accommodating and always available for our questions.
The charm of the apartment caught me by surprise. The layout and furnishings are completely appropriate to Charleston and truly enhanced our stay. The private parking space was an added bonus. The location comfortably positions you to walk anywhere in Charleston while simultaneously allowing you to easily exit Charleston and drive to some of the surrounding sights. And there are a multitude of terrific restaurants within a few minutes' walk.
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and loved the villa. It was very clean, well furnished and well appointed. The location with parking is outstanding, walking distance to everything, but off the main roads. The private garden is a really nice feature. We were very pleased with the Villa and our stay, exactly what we were looking for. Darryl is great to work with.
