Our cabin is on a well in the volcanic region of Central Oregon. Depending on the season the water can sometimes have a mineral scent or taste. It's completely normal for the area.
A very blessed family with three kids. We love spending time at our cabin in Central Oregon.
Craig Dickison purchased this house in 2012
It was close enough to Mt. Bacheleor, Bend and Sunriver to get to everything, yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet nights.
Close to the Little Deschutes. Enjoy fishing and kayaking.
The clover cabin was clean, comfortable and pretty large! Craig was a very easy going host and provided easy instructions for the house. We loved that the location was away from it all, we saw a few deer, one of them was right in the driveway when we got home one night!
Had a wonderful time watching the meteor shower. It was a great home base for the high desert museum & the Newberry National Monument caldera area. The exterior wasn't high on curb appeal, but inside was roomy & clean. The kids wished there were more than 4 local tv channels (they survived.) Dad & I wished there were screens on the windows & a covered deck so we could enjoy the early mornings & evenings air. All in all a great time. We would definitely stay here again.
Our goal was to spend lots of time in Sunriver and this was a perfect location for traveling back and forth. The price, location and cleanliness was perfect! It was a great get away house for my daughter and I. We felt safe and taken care of.
This property is a great little get-a-away in the pInes near so many recreation activities. Super location close to town but very quiet near the Little Deschutes river. House is nicely appointed with everything you might need. The owners are very easy to work with, even with our last minute schedule changes. Overall a great experience in such a beautiful part of Oregon.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and easy to find with all the amenities. The owner was very prompt in his responses and easy to work with. We will definitely book again!
This was a fantastic experience. We came up for a dryland-mushing event at La Pine State Park (over 40 people, 175 dogs running), and because of my bad back, I couldn't camp like others did, so found this wonderful place. It was less expensive than staying at a motel, and ten times nicer than being stuck in a room with the dogs. To say it was "fully loaded" is an understatement, it had literally everything, right down to an espresso machine, washer and dryer and lots more! As other reviewers have written, it's stocked as well as our own home. The bedrooms were lovely, beds very comfortable, extra blankets we never even needed. Ten-minute drive into La Pine, fifteen to the State Park. Everything couldn't have been more perfect, and Craig was amazingly accommodating with a couple of our special requests, especially another couple (and THEIR two dogs) who had camped with the group before but decided to "cush it" and wanted to come in with us at the last minute. I had started to rent a place right in La Pine itself 'cuz it was right next to the State Park, which was more expensive and only two bedrooms, but there was a glitch and I'm SO glad there was, because Clover Cabin was as perfect as it could get, and we'll definitely be back next year, if my back allows me to go again!
We were in town for a few days hiking and sightseeing. This place was in a great location and provided us with all we needed. The kids enjoyed playing outside and we had all we needed inside. We really enjoyed kayaking down the Little Deschutes river, however the river wasn't easily accessible from the property and too deep for our smaller kids to.play in. But we would return, Craig will respond very quickly with any issues and questions. Thanks Craig.
