Comfortable place in a beautiful location at a bargain price

My wife and I stayed here the month of Dec 2015. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone. We would certainly stay here again. The house is very spacious and could easily accommodate 4 people. Everything was exactly as described in the ad. As can be seen in the photos it is a bit older but everything is in good condition, very clean, and fully functional. It is well stocked with kitchen utensils, appliances, linens and general household sundries. We liked the large, very quiet master bedroom with the comfortable king size bed as well as the large closets with plenty of extra hangers. The wireless internet and satellite TV both performed well for us. The TV has HDMI ports for your streaming device. The local property manager was very responsive in taking care of a few minor maintenance issues that came up while we were there. It has a very convenient, pleasant location; there are several good Thai, Mexican, Italian and BBQ restaurants nearby and Albertson's, Ralph's and Sprouts supermarkets just a few minutes away. We enjoyed riding our bikes, hiking in the nearby hills, going to the nearby 24 Hour Fitness gym, and simply sitting on the patio watching the golfers. When we arrived we did notice (as someone else pointed out in an earlier review) that the patio furniture was dirty and needed to be cleaned. My wife wanted to use the patio so she cleaned the table and chairs; thus we were able to enjoy the beautiful views of the golf course and the great weather.

Enjoyable stay, but......

Our stay at the property was comfortable and enjoyable. It was furnished comfortably, location was excellent, convenient to restaurants, the coast beaches and Del Mar Race Track. The inside could use closer oversight of the cleaning of the kitchen and cooking utensils.

The biggest disappointment was that the patio furniture was dirty, chase lounge had broken straps, chairs covered with black mold and, therefore, all unusable. We tried to bar-b-q a few nights, but had to eat inside.

If the patio area has a major upgrade and cleaning, new furniture, etc., it would be a great property.

Rental periods are 1 CALENDAR month. Shorter time stays are possible as well as "non-calendar month" periods. Daily rates would apply in both cases. Two full weeks is the shortest stay permitted.
1st payment is ($500 deposit at time of reservation) and full month rent due 15 days prior to arrival. Deposit less exit cleaning ($125 typically) will be returned within 10 days of departure via electronically initiated physical check, unless direct transfer is arranged/available.
