We are a professional couple who like to share our home to out of town visitors. We work in hi-tech industry, live alone, outdoors active. We immensely love to live in the Seattle area and enjoy all the natural beauty it has to offer.
Saleem A purchased this house in 2007
We bought our house because we love to live in the city. We are located in a great location where we never have to drive to go out for grocery shopping, get a cup of coffee, and eat a casual lunch/dinner or for a date night. We can walk to Lake Union or Green Lake for a walk every day and we often even walk four miles to downtown on a nice day.
Everything you need and close to everything else you need. Easy walk to grocery store, drugstore, restaurants, parks, and bus stops. I would definitely stay here again!
We were in Seattle for 10 days. This was a great location handy to grocery store and bus stop. The apartment was clean and comfortable. They are very clear and specific in the property description about stairs up and down to access the place. Not good for anyone with mobility issues. But perfect otherwise.
This Wallingford neighborhood is fabulous. The apartment is extremely convenient for restaurants, groceries, children's park, and bus transportation. The pictures and description are accurately defined. The full size washer and dryer were a bonus for our month long stay. Salem was pleasant, and easy to contact with our questions. We look forward to another stay in the future.
We had a great time staying in this Wallingford daylight basement. It was a perfect location in walking distance to restaurants, a grocery store, and a park to play in. It was also a quick drive to the zoo. We enjoyed all these activities with our one year old. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. Instructions from Saleem were super clear. The only drawbacks were a small bathroom and some noise from the owners upstairs. Other than that, it was perfect for us!
the space was comfortable, with decent sized living area and bedroom. bedroom had a little sitting room too, which was great for suitcases and travel gear. comfortable bed.
the house has a lovely garden which was a joy to see each day.
VERY conveniently located. easy to get into the city but there are great little coffee shops and restaurants all around the area.
would gladly stay there again.
Just stayed here for (UW graduation) for 6 days and let me tell you, this place is a gem! For me, it was a true home away from home. From its intriguing charm, prime location (where shops and restaurants are literally a stones throw away) and proximity to downtown/UW/freeways, I absolutely loved my stay here.
I highly recommend this property. I hope to be back there next summer!
