Our house is small and cozy, and it has everything you need. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay; this is the house for you. We have satellite tv, internet, and a gas and charcoal grill on the back porch. Cell phones work at the house. There is a deck on the back of the house with a table and chairs. There is also a fenced in area that is 13ft x 35ft for the dogs. It is a 5ft chainlink fence that connects to the backyard and the deck area.
There is plenty of history in Walhalla to see and read about, and the town is located in a central location to about anything that you and your family would like to do. Oconee County is a great place to come and visit if you enjoy the outdoors. It has spectacular waterfalls, whitewater rafting, river and lake fishing, museums, shopping, festivals, road biking, motorcycle riding, hiking, golf, Clemson University, old churches, fall foliage, and berry picking. Come visit the area. I did in 1998 and have not left. It is a great area with a small town feel to it.

Alann Grigsby purchased this house in 2009
I bought this house so that my parents and friends have a place to stay when they come to visit. It is just perfect for a short time renter.
The old pine floors have lots of character.
Beautiful location. Great amenities. The only thing is the mattresses were too hard. Otherwise great. Would definitely recommend.
my mom, husband, and i stayed for a week and enjoyed it. the house is small, but has everything you need. we enjoyed cooking meals at the house, loved the grocery that is just down the road, enjoyed the restaurants and shopping in the area, and hanging out on the back deck in the fenced in yard. we will be back.
This was an amazing experience. My family came out from Colorado, and the house was clean, and perfect for our family of 4. We stayed over the weekend and it was so close to the waterfalls and trails to hike that were not too bad for the kids to hike. We drove out not far from Greenville, and took the kids to the zoo, and enjoyed every little bit of our visit. We had a little accident at the house at the very end of our stay, and The owners were very understanding and I couldn't have been more pleased with their response to the situation. I definitely recommend this house for people coming through this quiet little town! I hope if I move out this way I find a quaint little home like this! Thank you so much for your generosity for letting our family stay there! I couldn't have been more pleased!
Very comfortable. Weather got cold but it was warm and toasty inside. Owner goes the extra mile to make renter welcomed and comfortable. Property was clean, well maintained. We are seniors and it was a pleasure for us to stay in a property that had pine flooring, and amenities that we'd experienced earlier in life. Owner very helpful and provided everything we needed plus to make our stay enjoyable.
My husband, myself & our two Shitzu's rent this well appointed house during the winter months. The furniture is very comfortable & you'll get a good nights rest in the comfortable beds. Everything you need is furnished, kitchen is well stocked as is your bathroom needs. Nice fenced in yard & deck with grills and furniture.. Washer & dryer are off a walk in closet . TV in both bedrooms & living room. Walhalla is a quaint town at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and you won't find nicer people. Nice parks & town are within a short walk. The owners are wonderful, caring people who will take care of your needs.
My husband and I rented this sweet little house so we could have our own space while visiting his mother for her 87th birthday.
Everything was great! We felt right at home.
It is very basic , but it's clean and had everything we needed. We walked into town every morning and had our coffee at the bakery in town Although it was provided.(kitchen was nice and well stocked) There was a walk in closet , so plenty of space for hanging your clothes up.
I will say I'm a frilly filly , which means I am a picky girl.
This place was great . We definitely will rent this house again.
My two sister-in-laws came over after mom went to bed and we played cards all four of us .
Life is good with alone time.
Another mention, the bed was very comfortable and cozy. We slept well every night.
Thank you! Thank you! and Thank you!!!!!
