Steve and I own the house and just love the area. We live close by and enjoy all that Oconee County has to offer. Steve grew up one street over, and I moved here from Texas. We also have the listing #729831 if you need more room or more beds.

Alann Grigsby purchased this house in 2009

Why Alann Grigsby chose Walhalla

I bought this house so that my parents and friends have a place to stay when they come to visit. It is just perfect for a short time renter.

What makes this house unique

The old pine floors have lots of character.

Cozy. Clean. Comfortable. And always stocked up with everything you’d ever need for a fun trip!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage in Walhalla, SC is absolutely a “must stay” experience if you ever want to spend some time in the beautiful Upstate. Alann and Steve have thought of exactly everything to make your weekend getaway or month- long vacation an enjoyable time. The house is too cute for words and the location being literally blocks away from downtown Walhalla means you are close to shopping and all of the delicious restaurants. We’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and will continue to do so for our future trips to Clemson football games in the fall. Thanks so much Alann and Steve for being such wonderful rental hosts! We appreciate it more than you know.

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our visit to Alann's home. Communication was good. The place was tidy. The kitchen was great. Other rooms small and a little quirky, but totally fine.

Perfect getaway for our family of three and our dogs

  • 5 of 5

The home was the perfect size and the dogs enjoyed the fenced yard as well! I couldn't have picked a better place, close to town, yet the corner lot provided privacy, the huge poplar tree and ivy offered a secluded feel. We enjoyed the back deck/porch after a busy day on Saturday, the decorative lights was a nice touch.

Hope to return when we are in the area.

Cozy, clean and well equipped.

  • 5 of 5

This sweet little house provided all the space and comfort we needed during our three day stay. The large eat-in kitchen was a pleasant surprise and the cozy living room and bedrooms lent an inviting home-like feeling to the cottage. The owner(s) very thoughtfully provided all the appointments for their guests' needs. My only suggestions for improvement would be to provide better reading light in the living room and bedrooms and to provide easier access to the back deck with grill.

All in all, a very nice place. I would happily stay there again!

Comfortable, convenient, and affordable!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed here when visiting my parents, who live nearby, and their tiny house filled up with other visiting family. The house was great. Plenty of space. Comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen. The back deck is so cute. Thanks for a great stay!
