This condo set the mood for a perfect Maui vibe! Decorations, furnishings, and yes, even music, set the mood for a vacation in Paradise. The location was second to none. Centrally located to all attractions around Maui. A wonderful beach is just across the street. From the Launi, you can enjoy the ocean view while eating or just relaxing'! The condo has plenty of room and nicely furnished. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo at Kamole Sands was well stocked, clean, and in a good location across from Kamole III where you can snorkel, sit in the grass and watch the sunset and walk to restaurants easily. The unit itself has a good washer and dryer, a well stocked kitchen and toe bathrooms which was nice. The biggest issue we had was the lack of air conditioning/air flow in the bedroom. Being at the opposite end from the only air conditioning unit in the living room, it got very hot at night. Because it was on the first floor with the walkway on the other side of the bedroom, there was no privacy to open windows and get any time of air flow. The fan in the room just blew in more hot air. The bathroom off the bedroom was extremely stuffy and hot. The bed was also older, and uncomfortable, so sleep was a struggle for us in this unit. This may not be a struggle for others that like to sleep hot, but this was a struggle for my husband and myself. The other issue we had was the complex itself. All the staff came across very rude and unwelcoming. We tried to go the pool one afternoon and sit in the shade, and one of the staff came out and actually yelled at us rudely because we were apparently in a "mai tai Wednesday" spot, which we were completely unaware of because there were no signs or indications of this. Instead of nicely explaining this to us nicely he aggressively yelled at us to move, and we weren't even arguing with him because we jumped up right away and moved so there was no need to be that way. The constant pushing of the "morning orientation" with phone calls and pestering was also unwanted, as I am not in Hawaii to be sold something, I want to relax. Because we come to Maui often and have stayed in several other units, my review is based off of comparing it to other units that are much more laid back, do not push time shares or any sort of sales and are just more of a comfortable feel. I don't think we would return to this complex because of these reasons.

We enjoyed our stay and really liked how close the unit is to the beach access. The pool is not that close but being closer to the beach is the trade off. The condo and grounds are well kept and very pleasant. We really enjoyed the resort feel without the big expense. Had a great stay and would recommend the unit to anyone with a disability. My husband is disabled and found the unit to be very easy access. Also, the beach has a handicap access ramp which made it very easy for my husband to access the beach.

Loved every minute of it!!

From the moment we walked in until we left, we were thrilled with this property. The views, the unit, the location, the grounds, the pool - everything was outstanding! And Matt and Tanya from PMI were so amazingly helpful and accommodating from inquiry, to booking, thru check-in and check-out. No hassles or worries, they see to everything in the unit so all we had to do was turn the key upon entry and close the door upon exit. It was so hard to leave and we want to go back as soon as we can to stay there again. We'd highly recommend this unit and this complex as its lovely and so centrally located on the prettiest and most easy-going part of the island. Fun for all ages-with great beaches and lots to do. Shops, grocery stores, restaurants are all within walking distance, close to highways and 20 minutes from the airport. And the sunsets are beyond breathtaking.

Thank you, PMI and owners for sharing your property with us. We miss it, 1 week just wasn't long enough.

Beach Seeker

Mr Fiancee and were looking for a hassle free relaxing vacation and found it at Kam Sands. Our condo was on the ground floor with a view and close to the beach. Beach chairs, coolers some beach toys/fins were what we used daily. The unit was cool because of ocean breezes which many of the other units didn't have. The road noise was almost non existent except for the Monday morning garbage across rd in the park. Everything worked well and unit was up to date. Enjoyed the lanai and barbeque daily. Both beds (including sofs bed) were very comfortable. The property managers were very good to deal with and allowed us a very late check out for our late flight! This made our last day so much easier. Even with the Exchange rate, buying at Cosco and using the barbeque reduced our costs alot.
