So beautiful and relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

My family of four, and another family of three spent three nights at this cabin. The location is beautiful with near by (but not too close to affect your sleep) train tracks, and a river within walking distance with some beach type areas to sit and enjoy the water.

The men were able to drive up the mountains to ski-doo without a huge drive.

The house is quite large, and even with 7 people it never felt crowded.

The property itself is quite large with lots of room for kids to run around outside.

The views are stunning! My son is already asking when we can go back!

Seven of us stayed here for 8 days in late July - plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful area and great opportunity for the family to bond. The town of Valemount is within 20 minutes and nearby Tete Jaune Lodge has a superb view and excellent dinner buffet. We walked to, road bikes to, and fished the jade green Frazier river. A small lake a couple of minutes south of Valemount has a nice beach and fairly warm water. There's a mountain view off the kitchen and mountains all around. My daughters hiked a couple of mountains. A memorable time. Wish I could post some photos.

Beautiful secluded hideaway!

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries this is it! We loved the living room with it's 3 huge windows that make you feel like you are literally sitting outside (minus the mosquitoes). The house is simple in style but roomy and functional. The mattresses were very comfortable too.

One of our best days was our hike up Mica Mountain which is a mountain right behind the house. Fantastic view at the top and absolutely no one around.

This place is a gem and we would definitely go back again if the opportunity arises.

Comfortably rustic hideaway

  • 5 of 5

Hidden away on 75 acres of pristine forests and mountain meadows, this home combines the charm of a rustic cabin with comforts like a well-stocked kitchen, cozy bedding, and internet connectivity. The owner was highly responsive and helpful with questions we had before our visit. After days filled with exploring the nearby rivers, waterfalls, and mountain trails in Jasper National Park and Robson Provincial Park, we were happy to relax next to the enormous picture windows, taking in the million-dollar views. On evening strolls along the Fraser River (just minutes from the front door), we found some of the most gorgeous spots seen anywhere in the Canadian Rockies, populated only by ourselves and the paw prints of wildlife. Highly recommended to anyone who craves a base for wilderness adventure, and for those to just need to get away from it all to take in the boundless natural beauty that is a free bonus with this property.
