Overview

About the property

Private master bedroom. Sleeps 1 or a couple.

In the heart of Boulder's historic district, my charming bungalow house w/ yoga room (fits 1 at a time), is very close walking distance to downtown, hiking trails and easy access to boulder's bike path that leads to all areas of town. bus route very nearby for further jaunts. Queen in master bedroom. Shared spaces include the kitchen (dishware provided), living room, yoga room. Street parking in front of the house. Sweet front porch for coffee/tea. Walking through the tree lined historic district you can view our Victorian homes. Great eateries are all within walking distance. The bungalow is very special, very clean and full of good vibes. You will enjoy privacy, quiet and I will do my best to make you feel right at home. I also have one bicycle for gals, with lock and helmet to cruise around town. Please note: This is a room for rent in my home, not an entire home for rent.

About Angela Schuster

I am a textile designer working with a national handbag brand here in Boulder. I also teach yoga and am a start up business consultant. I have lived here over 20 years and still love calling Boulder my home. I travel frequently and enjoy everything typical of Colorado sporting activities.

Why Angela Schuster chose Boulder

The bungalow is close to everything in the heart of Boulder. Walk to 'downtown', CU, hiking, bike path, bus stop.

World culture home, world class host with view of the mountains

  • 5 of 5

Angela's home is filled with richness; Asian art and her bright spirit. The location was perfect: in the historic district with lots of trees, and charming artistic homes. Easy walking distance to the hiking trails and Pearl street restaurant district. The whole neighborhood has a very peaceful feeling. I found the bed very comfortable and the decor pleasing. Angela is a wonderful host and I would certainly return again.

Great location, quiet, needs a little fix up

  • 3 of 5

Stay was quiet. Peeling paint in bedroom, floor coming up in the bathroom, artistically decorated, linens could use an up date for a 5 star rating. Would be nice to have a table to sit and eat at. Nice to have a brighter light in bathroom or somewhere for make up. This worked out as a good place to stay, but I don't think it deserves a 5 star. Owner wasn't there much when I was there. Very respectful of my space.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback, Lil. I will tend to the minor repairs mentioned. I don't have a dining table, I use that space for yoga/meditation, but just so that future guests know, you can eat at the table in the living room. :)

Charmed by bungalow and host

  • 4 of 5

Great location in a historic neighborhood, charming & helpful host, warm surroundings and decor, comfy bed. Clawfoot tub not too appealing to me for showering, but I survived. Overall, I'd recommend it for a short stay.

Charming, cozy and convenient

  • 5 of 5

Angela made it very easy, allowed the use of her kitchen although we didn't cook. A very convenient location to Pearl street and a very peaceful vibe and the bed was very comfortable!
