Sleeping arrangement: New King bed in Master bedroom, Queen bed in second bedroom, Pottery Barn twin loft bed with twin size bed on the bottom in third bedroom. Queen sofa sleeper in family room.

The whole condo has been redone, including new hickory floors, fresh paint, quartz counters, new beds, bedding & linens! We also just got a brand new Whirlpool 'white ice' dishwasher and fridge with ice & water in the door. New GE front load washer and dryer Both bathrooms have just been remodeled - Oct 2016! New modern sofa sleeper and table & chairs Jan 2017,

There are so many great beaches on the Island that it's great to visit a different one every time you go. Sanibel Island is known for the best shelling beaches on the Western Hemisphere! There are several beaches within walking distance to Mariner Pointe, including the private beach that Mariner Pointe has deeded access to behind Tortuga Beach Club. (only a 5 minute bike ride or 15 walk from condo - at the end of Lindgren Blvd.) Bailey's & Lighthouse beach are also very close by. About Paul

Born and raised in Longmont Colorado, we call Fort Collins, Colorado home now. Graduated from Colorado State University in 2000. Married the love of my life in 2002 and now have three well behaved 'energized' boys. Love fishing, golf and spending time with my family at the beach in Sanibel!

Why Paul chose Florida South West

Our family realized a long time ago that our best vacations all included a few key ingredients: amazing views, a great beach, spending time on the water and tons of amenities. Mother nature can also play a role… that’s exactly why we chose Sanibel Island as our vacation destination. The bay views from our condo at Mariner Pointe make this the most tranquil and enjoyable vacation Imaginable. Being on the ground-level is an absolute must, it connects you to your environment and allows easy access for the kids to play/fish and for the family to relax on the boardwalk. It also makes it very easy and convenient with luggage and groceries. We love Sanibel for the wonderful water views and white sandy world famous beaches! When you come you will want to explore the island and visit all the great “shelling” beaches all the way to Captiva. I have some great recommendations I am always happy to share with guests. We pride ourselves in a very simple rental process and look forward to hearing about how much you loved Sanibel.

What makes this condo unique

Great Tru-Surface tennis courts right out the front door. Walk a little farther and watch the fishing boats dock up at the Mariner Pointe private stretch of the inlet canal. Or, better yet bring your own boat and dock it here for your entire stay. (very nominal fee) You will love exploring the island of Sanibel and the best way to do it is renting bikes for the family from Billy’s bike rental. This waterfront suite was Completely redone in May 2014 with a modern casual “beach house” design! Come enjoy new beds, linens, bath accessories, hickory floors fresh paint and new quartz counters. HDTV’S in every room! Time to relax and enjoy all that Sanibel has to offer, we would be happy to have you stay! If you’re like us you won’t want to leave!

Great Vacation

Great views from condo and lots of wild life. Saw dolphins everyday. The condo unit was very nice. The pool was great. Lots of excellant restaurants in the area.

Beautiful Home, Disappointing Cleanliness

Let me start by saying the home is beautiful and conveniently located right off the causeway onto Sanibel. The home itself is deserving of 5 stars, and I am sure future guests will get a 5 star experience.

Allow me to explain why our experience warrants only a 3 star review. We arrived a few hours before check-in. There was no sign of cleaning crew, but the door was open so we peaked in and saw the place was a complete mess from the prior visitors. We decided to make a run to the grocery store for the week ahead, after which point we came back and were able to unload the groceries into the fridge after the cleaning crew had arrived. At this point it was getting close to check in time, and they apologized for having a late start on the cleaning. We said no issue, unloaded groceries into the fridge, and left to explore the island while they cleaned the unit. We came back several hours later (after check in time), and found that the floors and bathrooms were still a complete mess. We spent several hours that night cleaning. Then, we found that all dishes and silverware had food caked on, another unpleasant surprise. We hand washed everything, ate dinner, and ran the dishwasher again, only to find it wasn't working. So we reached out to the owner to let him know the dishwasher wasn't working. That triggered a series of technician's visits, first a repairman (unsuccessful), then ultimately the installation of a new dishwasher. While we were told it was not required we stay there during the visits, we did not feel comfortable leaving all of our things in the unit while technicians came in and out. This was a bit inconvenient since it was in the middle of the beach day, both times. We had been in touch with the owner several times to talk about the technician visits, but when we reached out to discuss a potential credit to the cleaning fee, we never heard back. This was a disappointment, hence the 3 star rating.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for staying and the five star review for the looks and location of our property. We too feel we have a great condo in one of the best communities in Sanibel. I do however feel the cleaning comment was an unfair assessment considering we have one of the best cleaning crews on Sanibel Island. Our cleaning crew has a very limited window to prepare the unit between guests. We hope that our future guests reading this recognize the importance of the 4pm check-in time. We take great pride in the appearance and cleanliness of our bay-front condo! We want all guests to be welcomed with a clean and prepared condo to start their vacation. Allowing proper time and space for our cleaning crew to achieve this is much appreciated.

Great location, bare bones but livable.

The condo is small, the neighbors are very nice and friendly. The supplies need to be reviewed. Many coffee cups but three tall glasses for four people. Paintings fell off the wall because hung with one hanger. Towels were old and stained. Just needs a dust up.

Owner's Response: We just purchased a new king Icomfort Serta for the condo and now have two very comfortable king beds in both rooms. The canvas painting in the second bedroom was moved in the shuffle. It only weighs a pound and we thought it should hang okay on one hook... apparently not. (We will add another right away) The condo is fully stocked. Some of the most recent additions; a new sofa sleeper, new table & chairs, new king Mattress and headboard. We also just purchased a Keurig coffee maker and new utensils for the kitchen. The condo has a great floor plan and is furnished to scale, however when/if you add two fold-away cribs to the master bedroom it is going to feel pretty small. We have a constant rotation of new towels and it sounds like we need to pull a couple out of the mix ;) Thanks again for staying and the feedback, it helps us make the condo as liveable and comfortable as possible for future guests.

A little piece of heaven.

This condo is located in Mariner Pointe overlooking the bay between Sanibel and Ft.Myers. It is a fantastic location with views of the bay filled with birds and Dolphins. The unit is very comfortable with a master bedroom and two small bedrooms. The third bedroom has bunk beds.

We had a couple of minor problems which the owner responded to quickly and completely when we contacted him by email.

Mariner Pointe is a great location with a board walk and fishing pier on site. It's hard to beat!

Great vacation

Great location- cozy three bedroom end unit with a lovely view of the bay. Enjoyed watching the dolphins, and, manatees cruising through.

The complex has a private fishing pier - spent quite a few hours up there, and, also in the swimming pool.

Lot of great restaurants, and, fun things to do in Sanibel.

My granddaughter- for that matter all of us enjoyed collecting sea shells on the beaches in Sanibel, and, Captiva.

The condo was clean, comfortable and, had most utilities one would need.

Would highly recommend the place , especially for a family with children or grandchildren!

There are very few locations on the island that will compete with the amenities, views and conveniences of Mariner Pointe. The canal and bay by our complex is an absolute dolphin watching paradise. We love having Dave, the Mariner Pointe property manager living on-site.
