Nice space, fantastic location!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was a small, tidy studio space. Very cute! Bed was very comfy, all other amenities were in good working order. The location can't be beat!

Accessing the space was easy and communication was prompt.

I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Portland!

Good location, bed was comfy, fairly quiet, missing some basic things

  • 3 of 5

While the neighborhood appeared a little sketchy (there were quite a few homeless people camped nearby), we talked to other folks that live in the building and they assured us it is a safe neighborhood. We walked a lot from there night and day, and felt safe. There are lots of good restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, a Whole Foods store nearby. The location was very good for site seeing as the Pearl District is centrally located.

We had an issue with the AC the first night (Portland was having a heat wave at the time). With Jordan's help the issue with the AC got resolved, or it would have been a long night. Overall there was a lack of some of the basics that we are used to seeing in VRBO rentals. There were no paper towels, no toaster, no coffee maker, and we almost ran out of toilet paper. There was no cooking oil. If Jordan could fix the issue with some of the basics we would rate it higher.

Nice, private place close to downtown.

  • 4 of 5

Comfortable bed, clean, most of what you need for short stay.

Washer/dryer included, but only washer worked, and we were on the 8th day of a week-long+ trip. Because the dryer didn't work, and we discovered after washing two loads, it meant we had to hang clothes all over the room to dry. It was on a weekend and owner offered to have our clothes washed but wasn't worth the trouble.

Nice to have an elevator.

The condo is on the edge of the Pearl District, which was nice, but be aware that there are plenty of homeless folks right out the back door. A resident posted a warning note about used needles around the building. We never felt threatened or had problems, but should be aware of soundings.

Jordan provided temporary parking passes for our stay, which were greatly appreciated! We hadn't planned on having a car, so this was an added perk.

There is WiFi, and a TV, but recommend if you have a Roku or Fire stick, take it with you. Able to use it with the TV, as OTA and DVD player only other option. Only mattered to me during game day to get ESPN. Just a suggestion.

Good price for downtown Portland, recommended place to stay.

Perfect location and comfortable stay!

  • 5 of 5

It was the perfect location, close to down town, walking distance from brewery's, across the street from a car rental and next to a bus stop. The apartment was comfortable. It had plenty of room, the bed mattress was great, and had all the essentials. I did have some trouble working the shower. It's hard to turn on, but once it was on, it was great!

Great location and very convenient to everything

  • 3 of 5

Great location as a private condo. Jordan seems new to hosting and I was expecting a bit more communication from him before our check in. He messaged us a couple hours before check in (12 noon) saying it wouldn't be ready until hours later. It was a clean space and a short walk to the Pearl District. A hairdryer would have been nice to have available as well as directions on how to use the shower. We would stay again.

This place was absolutely perfect for us! My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 days and walked just about everywhere. There's tons around the neighbourhood and the building felt comfortable and safe. Sad to leave and would come back in a heartbeat!
