Great getaway!

  • 3 of 5

My husband and I wanted a peaceful getaway. That's exactly what we got. The lake is a beautiful serene place especially this time of year. The cottage was comfortable and a very affordable place. The owner was very easy to work with and we got our deposit back in less than a week. I recommend this cottage for anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway while taking in the breathtaking view of forest lake.

will not rent this house again.

  • 2 of 5

We had an enjoyable time at the lake house, however I am very unhappy about the way the owner handles the inspection of the house to get my deposit back. She claims we broke a light in the living room and charged me $60 for a light we never broke. There was 4 of us there who are all above the age of 52 and I can assure you we broke nothing. Also we had to pay $17 to have a propane tank filled that she told us was filled. Just make sure you take before and after pictures of everything. Forest lake is beautiful and we will be going back, just not to this house.

Peaceful 3 night get-away!

  • 3 of 5

We wanted 3 days of quiet and peace with the ability to canoe and kayak and that's exactly what we got! This simple and comfortable 2 bedroom home was perfect for the two of us, had a screened in porch with a view of Forest Lake, access to canoe and kayaks, and firewood for outdoor fires. The rental was very affordable, lowest rate we found on the lake. Kitchen had everything that you would expect and need.
