Nice Cottage

  • 4 of 5

This is a nice cottage on a smaller sized lake. The lake was quiet and we managed to catch a few largemouth bass. We had our 17' Tracker boat which was a perfect size for the lake. The water was clean and warm, perfect for swimming and floating around on the hot days we had up there. The A/C's in the cottage were new and were so nice to have. They didn't have that nasty musty smell you sometimes get at camps. The beds were nice and comfy. My favorite thing was to sit out on the screened in porch and watch the hummingbirds. Sandy made herself available if needed and answered any questions I had.

Such a peaceful place. A cute rustic cottage with a fantastic host!

  • 5 of 5

Sandy was an excellent host very attentive and easy to contact and pleasant. Lake is perfect for kayaks canoes and paddle boats since you can’t have large watercraft. Close to the speedway, the motocross and shops in Keene. Town beach with playground is also right down the street. We will be back!

Quaint remodeled camp

  • 4 of 5

This is a quaint remodeled old camp that is nestled among other old camps on a beautiful New Hampshire Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved the screened in porch so there's no worry about bugs and you can enjoy morning or evening. Sandra has equipped the camp with all the modern conveniences so in case you have rain you can still connect to the Internet or watch an old movie on a large screen T.V. This owner is also very accommodating wanting to make your stay just right. Yard could be a little larger and fenced in so our dogs didn't have to be leashed but they did enjoy their walks near picnic tables and on the dead end road. Good location; near Vermont border and some beautiful southern New Hampshire hidden towns. Found some excellent restaurants nearby too but a nice grill is available too.

Perfect long weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I really enjoyed Sandra's cottage, it had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen, to outdoor activities! We docked our boat and went on daily rides on the gorgeous lake, kayaked, canoed, swam, grilled, it was awesome!

Location was very convenient, a little under an hour drive from where we live, we will definitely return! Sandra was easy to get a hold of, and was able to accommodate our needs no problem.

Thank you Sandra!

Peaceful .... will return.

  • 5 of 5

Comfortable cabin on Forest Lake with a beautiful view of the sunrise, birds and fish jumping on the lake. The cabin had plenty of room for five adults and two large dogs. Very nice screened porch and dog run outside. Kayaks and canoe available on the lake. The dock was a place for great fishing. Dogs were able to swim, firepit on the beach, plenty of wood available on site. Safe and quiet area in Winchester NH with a short ride to Brattleboro, VT.
