Quaint remodeled camp
This is a quaint remodeled old camp that is nestled among other old camps on a beautiful New Hampshire Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved the screened in porch so there's no worry about bugs and you can enjoy morning or evening. Sandra has equipped the camp with all the modern conveniences so in case you have rain you can still connect to the Internet or watch an old movie on a large screen T.V. This owner is also very accommodating wanting to make your stay just right. Yard could be a little larger and fenced in so our dogs didn't have to be leashed but they did enjoy their walks near picnic tables and on the dead end road. Good location; near Vermont border and some beautiful southern New Hampshire hidden towns. Found some excellent restaurants nearby too but a nice grill is available too.
Perfect long weekend!
My family and I really enjoyed Sandra's cottage, it had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen, to outdoor activities! We docked our boat and went on daily rides on the gorgeous lake, kayaked, canoed, swam, grilled, it was awesome!
Location was very convenient, a little under an hour drive from where we live, we will definitely return! Sandra was easy to get a hold of, and was able to accommodate our needs no problem.
Thank you Sandra!
Peaceful .... will return.
Comfortable cabin on Forest Lake with a beautiful view of the sunrise, birds and fish jumping on the lake. The cabin had plenty of room for five adults and two large dogs. Very nice screened porch and dog run outside. Kayaks and canoe available on the lake. The dock was a place for great fishing. Dogs were able to swim, firepit on the beach, plenty of wood available on site. Safe and quiet area in Winchester NH with a short ride to Brattleboro, VT.
Loved the kayaking and paddle boats. The location was nice because it was close to town. Sandy was very helpful too. Would recommend.
Peaceful relaxing getaway!!
A very much needed getaway, was perfect! We fished, swam, kayaked, sat around the firepit at night. Also ate very well! Grilled stuff there & went out to a great spot , the Rustic Table only 2/10ths of a mile away!
Sandy was very helpful!
Cozy rustic cabin, beautiful lake, dock, canoe, kayaks, equiped kitchen. Excellent NE getaway.
Sandra was helpful, warm, and understanding in facilitating our stay. Lovely peaceful evening overlooking lake in screened patio area. Wish we had had more time to enjoy the conoeing, very relaxing.
If you have your own boat there is a public boat launch for you to use and you can dock your boat on our private dock.
