Modernised in 2013 by a top Parisian architect, this 2 bedroomed chic haven of calm directly overlooks the tomb of Napoleon and the Invalides. It is two minutes from Latour Maubourg metro (line 8), two stops south of Concorde (lines 1 and 8).
On the first floor, with lift, this is a 21st century apartment in a 'Belle Epoque' building. It has one large bedroom with ensuite bathroom, one smaller twin bedroom with shower room ensuite, separate WC, modern glass walled kitchen, large combined salon and dining room.
You will find 200Mb broadband Internet (max) with RJ45 outlets and good wifi, 3 TVs (one with Skype, the others with YouTube), and modern designer furniture. The apartment is managed on behalf of the owner by 'Acceuil-Appartement', a top Parisian servicing agent who can provide additional services (payable) as required and who will deal with all meet, greet, contracts and payments and minor problems guests have with appliances etc.
As the owner, this is my Paris home and my wife and I regularly stay in the apartment. It is managed for us by RENTYOURPARIS and you can contact Anna Fiero there direct on 00 33 1 44 18 39 87 - as she keeps the master calendar. Any VRBO email also goes to her.
The apartment is fully double glazed throughout keeping it cooler in summer and warm in winter. All bed linen and towels are supplied along with a welcome pack. You will need to supply an advance deposit against damages equivalent to one week's rental.
We are happy to welcome children but no pets. This is a totally no smoking apartment. Smoke detectors are fitted.
The apartment is heavily booked often with repeat clients booking directly , and the owner does his best to fit his own needs and dates around those of his clients.
Nearby: The Tomb of Napoleon is barely three minutes walk; the Eiffel Tower is an easy 15 minute stroll, The D'Orsay Museum is also about 15 minutes walk away; the Champs-Élysées is two stops on the metro to Concorde; the Luxembourg Gardens a 12 minute bus ride from Ecole Militaire nearby; other buses and metros get you to The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and other monuments within 15 minutes.
The apartment is exactly in the centre of of Paris' most fashionable and bourgeois arrondissement -the 7th. You are surrounded by superb restaurants, fashionable (if expensive shopping), some of the best markets in Paris including Rue Cler just 6 minutes walk away. There are several good cheap supermarkets within 5 minutes stroll.
The apartment block is quiet, bourgeois and French. The co-owners and residents value their calm and peace but they have all been charming to our guests.
Minimum period of stay is one week: maximum two months (negotiated with the owner). It is an ideal and central location to explore Paris, France and the rest of Europe.
Last but not least, the apartment comes with a selection of DVDs for all ages, some board games, a selection of books on Paris, the fine 'peacock' evening dinner service as well as child friendly crockery etc.

I am retired, having worked in education, IT and consultancy. Our main home is in London but we treat Paris as our second home: we love it.
Ian Murray and RentYourParis purchased this apartment in 2012
Boulevard Latour Maubourg is right in the centre of fashionable left bank Paris and here you are surrounded by culture, history and green spaces. It is lovely: of course there also are all the fashionable shopping and gourmet restaurants.
We have many clients who are delighted to give a reference and report on our property to new guests. Just ask.
This is an apartment with a view 'to die for'. Only the Eiffel Tower view may out rank it! You are central but in a quiet location.
Ian asked me to write you an email giving you a candid opinion of the apartment and the area that we recently stayed in over Thanksgiving. First of all the apartment was perfect and the location is amazing.
The apartment was honestly perfect for us. We absolutely loved it. My daughters roommates came over and were likewise raving about it. It was beautiful, comfortable and I would stay there again in a minute. Ian is one of the nicest most helpful owners we've ever had the pleasure of working with. Make note though to ask about English speaking tv channels. We never understood how to do it until he showed us when we were checking out but it wasn't a terrible thing to disconnect from the tv for one week but know it is available.
The location is truly perfect. It's a five minute walk to an open market area that's open in the morning and all day where you can get food, groceries, coffee and bakeries. The area can't be beat!
This apartment is the perfect backdrop for a week in Paris. The location is in a quiet neighborhood despite being close to everything. Minutes from the metro, Eifel tower, with cheese, bread and wine stores being only blocks away. The view to the Invalides is perfect for sipping wine in the living room. The apartment itself lends itself to families or in our case 3 moms in Paris to watch our kids march in the New Years day parade. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One room has two twin beds (that can be pushed together) and the other a queen. The showers in each bathroom have great pressure. There is only one toilet in the front of the apartment but that was not a problem at all. For those who don't like to haul luggage up stairs there is a small elevator to help. Our only complaint had nothing to do with the apartment - it was unusually cold in Paris (I bought a new cute coat to compensate) but we are used to the cold - we are all from Chicago area. Hope to be back again.
This is a spectacular apartment in the perfect location. I loved having the windows open and enjoying the beautiful summer weather and the view of Napoleon's tomb. We also loved all of the markets, shops and restaurants on Rue Cler - just a few blocks away - and the surrounding neighborhood. My wife, 17 year old daughter and I enjoying everything about it for a week. It is in a great older residential building but the apartment is very modern. The pictures are very representative. It is two bedroom, two baths - the baths both have a shower and sink (also tub in master which my wife loved). There is only one toilet/room - which is between the entrance and kitchen. This was unusual to us but not an issue at all. The location was perfect with a metro stop about a block away that allowed us great access to all of Paris. There is also a taxi queue there. The road in front of the apartment is one way - so we had some trouble with navigation on the bus. The front bedroom and living room are on the street side. There is some traffic noise if the windows are open but it is very quiet with the windows closed/latched. The master bedroom is in the interior of the building and is very quiet and the bed is comfortable. There is a small elevator in the building. The apartment is up one level from the street. A rental/management company is used for the apartment. The owner was in the process of changing management companies during our stay so there were a few unexpected things to deal with but nothing too intrusive. We loved every minute of our Paris vacation in this apartment. The wifi worked well and there was tons of information about things to do and local recommendations. We would definitely recommend it and would try to stay here again if we return to Paris in the future.
The apartment was as described. It had everything we needed and was so convenient for all the sights in Paris.
It was like a home from home.
We really enjoyed 'popping' out to see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night, something you can't do if you are not in a great location.
The level of information about the apartment and the area was second to none, Ian made sure that we had everthing we needed to make our stay memorable.
We watched the end of the Tour de France, watched the presentations close up and still got back to the apartment in time to see all the highlights on TV.
We can recommend the Picasso museum, our 2 sons (23 and 17 and not typically art enthusiasts!) we captivated. We particularly enjoyed the roof top cafe.
If you want to be right in the heart of things and feel Parisian then this is the place for you.
This is a spacious, comfortable, well-appointed apartment in a great neighborhood with easy access to the Metro, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Ian, the owner, is gracious and attentive to his guests. We will definitely rent this apartment again in the future.
The apartment is spacious and has a great kitchen and large living-dining room. We especially appreciated how quiet the main bedroom was. The location is also excellent. We walked to many sights, and a metro stop is only about a block away. The owner was very helpful throughout the rental process and provided great information about the apartment and nearby shops and restaurants. The apartment was ideal for my husband and me and would be great for a family.
This apartment was a perfect choice for my family's stay in Paris. Beautifully appointed apartment, ideal location and ample space for my family of four. Ian was a consummate professional and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to attend to all our needs and requests. I strongly recommend this apartment to any visitors to Paris.
This the very heart of the 7th Arronidssement: so nearly all historical Paris is within walking distance or, for the foot sore a short two or three stop metro ride. The 69 bus which famously travels past nearly every monument, has a stop just over 5 minutes away. There is a busy taxi cab rank almost outside the apartment. This is one of the great Paris locations,
