Boardman Views is a beautifully updated farmhouse located in a spectacular Northern Sheffield rural neighborhood overlooking pastures and a mountain view! Eight acres, including a full sized teepee and fire pit allows the renter to explore this lovely natural Berkshire environment.

Inside one enters through the sunny renovated boot-room with stone floor, which also serves as a utility area with washer and dryer and 1/2 bath. The living room is inviting with cable tv, wide plank wood paneling, books, chessboard, and a wonderfully large fireplace. Two staircases - front and back make for fun exploring and easy accessibility - one is located in the living room, the other in the front entry. The kitchen is completely renovated with all new cabinets and appliances! The dining room is just off the kitchen and has a table that expands to seat 8+. This ground floor level has a master suite with a Queen bed, small TV with cable, ensuite, with a fully updated bathroom with gorgeous tiled steam shower, with a bench!

Upstairs, you have four other guest rooms. The room with red and white wallpaper has a king bed with twin pullout for a child, the rose room has a queen bed and tv, the study has the twin trundle, and last bedroom has a full bed. These upstairs bedrooms share a full bath with 2 sinks and a claw-foot tub. The beds all have bed-bug and dust mite proof mattresses along with allergy-free feather beds for those who are allergy sensitive! The guest rooms all have window unit air conditioning. During warmer days you will also enjoy the screened porch with overhead fan, wicker furniture and pretty Berkshire views.

Outside, you have your 8 acres to explore including a full sized teepee with fire pit, and tree swing! The back field offers a roomy flat lawn fun for sports, games, and a full sized hammock + lovely pastoral and wooded views. The yard and gardens are all well maintained. The two-car garage stores the 2 kayaks, bikes, and cross-country skis. Clearly you can see much thought, time and energy has gone into this home to make it a fabulous rental!! Available year round!

About Claudia Laslie: Berkshire Rental Properties

Hello! I am Claudia Laslie, owner and creator of Berkshire Rental Properties, specializing in both long and short term vacation rentals, throughout the Southern Berkshires, since 2005. My role is to act as liaison between renter and homeowner and to assist the owner in preparing their rental so that renters have a wonderful experience and want to return to the Berkshires again and again.

I moved to Great Barrington in 2003 along with my two children who were quite young at the time. Looking to supplement my income, I would clean my house top to bottom, pack my kids into their car seats, and rent out my house for weekends. In talking about it with friends, one thing lead to another and before long I was helping others to do the same! My company has come a long way from those early vacation rental pioneering days... thank goodness. BRP provides seasoned guidance to both homeowners as they prepare their homes as well as to potential renters to help them find the best property that fits their needs. I also assist with long term rentals, both furnished and unfurnished.

I am a licensed MA real estate broker represented by Lance Vermeulen Real Estate Inc. Great place for large family. Convenient to Great Barrington and lakes around there.

We were there for a family wedding at August Moon in Sheffield. It was a perfect spot for families with kids. Even had a couple sleeping bags so kids could have a slumber party.

Berkshires are beautiful.

Beautiful, well kept and well stocked.

Our family had a wonderful time here. There were 8 adults, and at no time did we feel that we were in each others' space. The grounds are well kept, and beautiful to look at, and the views of the mountains are lovely. Attention to the minutest details were apparent down to the lotion in the bathrooms smelling wonderful. The screened in porch was definitely our favorite place to congregate.The only thing the kitchen was missing were coffee filters, and a tea ball, minor inconvenience, but we made do. The nearby shopping made it easy to stock up for the week. All in all, I was ready to move in permanently!!!!!

Wonderful vacation home

My family, which consisted of Adult children and young grandkids, spent a wonderful winter week at this lovely home. We enjoyed the big, well equipped kitchen, the dining room which allowed us all to eat together and the very comfortable beds and bedrooms. The owner was very quick to respond to questions, which we found very useful. Sheffield is a great location in the Berkshires and this home felt like we were in the country and yet, was very close to shopping and nearby attractions.

Lovely home with beautiful views

My family enjoyed their recent stay at Boardman Views

The house is in a great location close to many local scenic places to visit but very quiet and peaceful. It's a lovely property with everything you need to enjoy your stay

The children were fascinated with the teepee and enjoyed playing on the swing

We saw the mountain mists in the morning and fireflies at night

Delightfully refreshing stay!

Comfortable, modern kitchen and bathrooms. View is unbelievable from all windows. Kids loved the teepee. Fire pit was wonderful for s'mores in the evening. Close to town but we rarely went as we were enjoying the home so much.
