A Public Garage Parking and a taxi rank are just one block away.
This apartment was absolutely perfect in every way - location, amenities, design aesthetic, comfort and charm. The manager/owner was fantastic to deal with and incredibly helpful in all respects. We are already dreaming about returning!
This was our first VRBO and happily, not our last. We have been to Paris dozens of times, staying always at a hotel. This time we wanted the flexibility and space that an apartment could provide. We were nervous bookers and Enzo was very patient with our questions and concerns, very straightforward and honest. The apartment was easy to find and exactly as promised in the photos, descriptions and reviews of previous guests. Everything was clean, easy to use and in perfect working order. There were enough hangers! The sheets and beds were comfortable! While the fridge was small it was plenty big for some wine, breakfast items and snacks. The living room was warm and cozy and the couches always welcoming after a long day or sightseeing or shopping. The TVs worked well and it was simple to find local or international cable stations. The internet was speedy and reliable. The radiators kept the apartment warm on the cold days we experienced. Keep in mind there are a few steps to the elevator and the apartment which were no big deal (but if you're on crutches come here next time!) It was easy to walk to Pont Neuf or the metro, as well as shopping for groceries, croissants or other delights. Uber arrives any time, day or night (make sure you type in the address vs. allowing the app to populate the address.) Miss Keys arrived exactly as promised and was warm, helpful and efficient. We loved her as much as the apartment. We can't wait for our next visit! Enjoy!
My small family of 3 from California has never experimented with a VRBO rental outside the States, yet as a VRBO owner myself, I know when to trust an owner/manager and when a rental "smells right". Enzo and his 2 bed/2 bath rental that is 3 doors down from Pont Neuf (and a VERY short walk to the Pont Neuf Metro) was exactly that. His communication was flawless, timely and always honest, and his check in/check out associate - who is affectionately called "Miss Keys" - was there exactly when we arrived, and (more importantly) PRECISELY when we needed to depart very early on a Saturday morning for CDG. The apartment was a slam-dunk - a charming master suite for my wife and I, and a separate bed/bath for our 12-year old. The laundry machine was a bonus after spending a week in Germany. What we loved the most was the seclusion on the top floor and nobody walking above us, plus the cool winter breezes blowing in late November to chill the place when the heater was working too well. The furnishings, kitchen and TV's were modern and updated, and the original, dark stained wood floors were architecturally awesome. The place has a very functional elevator to transport you to the top (big enough for only 2 persons, but so what?!), I can't say enough great things about this rental. We will definitely be back and would stay there again.
The two bedroom apartment was perfect for my family of 4. My two daughters, ages 10 and 11.5 shared the bedroom with the twin beds, while my husband and I shared the master. There were also 2 bathrooms in the apartment.
The apartment was very spacious, and well equipped. It was nice to come "home" and relax after a busy day of walking and sightseeing. We did not end up cooking, but I did see that the kitchen was well equipped with all that you would need.
The location in the 6th was perfect for exploring the city. You are steps from the Pont Neuf, making for an easy walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre.
Enzo was responsive to our questions prior to arrival, and very helpful during our check-in. Check-out was smooth as well. Very easy and pleasant to work with.
I hope to return to Paris again and stay in this lovely property!
The apartment, on the top floor of the building with wonderful skylights, is a modern oasis. The living room is cozy and inviting with windows overlooking the street and the Seine. The two bedroom-bathroom suites, with plenty of storage space, are on opposite sides of the apartment for maximum privacy. There are two televisions (with English language stations), and the kitchen is fully equipped.
The location in the 6th is central to walking everywhere. The Seine and the Pont Neuf are at the end of the block so it’s easy to get to Ile de la Cite and the right bank, and to everywhere on the left. The block itself has art galleries, shops, hotels and restaurants so you feel very safe walking back to the apartment at night. (You do have to ignore the apartment entrance, an ugly little red door, and understand that you will have to walk up or down a short flight of steps to the lift.) Our host, Enzo, went out of his way to be accommodating and the housekeeper made sure that the apartment was clean and fully stocked. Enzo stayed in touch throughout our stay and was always available by phone or email. Highly recommended!
You couldn't want for a nicer apartment. Perfect location (stick your head out the window and see the Seine at the end of the street); great facilities; impeccably maintained and a host that is very easy to deal with. Restaurants, patisseries, supermarket, the Louvre and access to tours of Seine are all a very easy walk from the apartment. The apartment is on the top floor - there is one small flight of stairs then a small elevator can take you and luggage to the steps just below the apartment - then another small flight of stairs to your door. The double glazed windows keep the street sounds at bay but if you do open them to get air in, you will hear the street (which is expected in all busy areas).
Enzo was very easy to deal with from the point of booking to arrival and meeting us at the door. Our deposit was returned on departure - no problems at all.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in St Germain.
Thanks Enzo, I hope we get to return one day.
Simply in the heart of Paris! Just a stone's throw from River Seine and minute walk from The Louvre.
