About Lisa Wilde

I am a local artist who recently decided to pursue my artistic career in the States. Family is important to me and entertaining them has been a joy, this is an exciting opportunity to share a lifetime of creating. I love cooking, gardening, and the arts.

Lisa Wilde purchased this house in 1980

Why Lisa Wilde chose Vancouver Island

I bought this property to be close to the ocean and because of the afforded space for large family get together's. A third of an acre close to fine dining, in a neighborhood full of natural beauty and still close to town.

What makes this house unique

Big kitchen, fully equipped to fit all your cooking needs, and a great space to share with your family. There is everything you need for an unforgettable stay filled with wonderful memories.

Perfect for a family.

My wife and I cannot recommend this property more. We have 3 small children and we also had guests who had a small child as well, and there was more than enough space. It's quiet, spacious, and well stocked with every requirement necessary for a trip of any length. The owner was also very quick to reply with any questions or issues. We had a great time and a lot of it is due to staying here. Can't wait to return.

A great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My group of six really enjoyed our stay at Herons Hideaway. Everyone was very happy with this find. This home is well equipped which complimented our experience. We had wonderful weather allowing us to spend morning and evening meals in a comfortable and relaxed setting on the patio. My wife and I particularly loved the spacious master bedroom and the cool breeze that whistled through every night. Even had an opportunity to meet the owners, via invitation, a great couple.

We highly recommend this accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Spacious, well-equipped house

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here! Plenty of space for a large family. The only downsides were that it was a little far from the main part of town and some of the neighbors were noisy (construction projects and loud radios) in the evenings. The backyard was lush and lovely (we ate many fresh blueberries).
